"Building an intelligent teaching environment and promoting the integration of information technology and education" is the main direction of the development of education.The classroom is the main place for students to learn.The essential feature of the smart classroom is to realize student-centered learning and promote students' active learning under the support of technology.Then,to what extent does the smart classroom built mainly by external adaptation affect the students' active learning awareness and learning ability? Has the expected construction goal of the smart classroom been achieved?This paper takes a domestic university with a well-recognized smart classroom construction as a case study to explore the current situation of using smart classrooms in colleges and universities in China,summarize the experience and analyze the deficiencies.This paper is divided into four parts: the first part of the introduction.The search of relevant literature reveals that the current research on smart classroom is mainly theoretical discussion,but empirical research is still relatively few.There are many researches on technology perspective,but few researches on student perspective.The second part,historical review.At the beginning,the construction of smart classroom in China mainly introduced the experience and theory of foreign smart classroom construction.Then,the pilot construction of smart classroom was gradually started.After getting good feedback,the large-scale construction of smart classroom was started.The construction of smart classroom in colleges and universities focuses on the diversity of equipment and functions,and the advancement of technology,but some advanced equipment is installed in the classroom,students in the construction of smart classroom in the main role has not been fully paid attention.The third part,empirical investigation process and investigation results.The first step is observation and interview.Students were observed and interviewed before,during and after class.It is found that the smart classroom has a positive impact on students' active learning awareness and learning ability,and the higher students' digital literacy ability is,the stronger their active learning willingness and ability are.The second step is questionnaire survey.Based on the questionnaire prepared by authoritative scholars,this paper investigates the learning experience of students using the smart classroom from five dimensions: learning activity dimension,physical environment dimension,vitality interaction dimension,resource acquisition dimension and content presentation dimension.Meanwhile,some students who fill in the questionnaire are interviewed in real time.It is found that students have a good overall experience of the smart classroom,and the smart classroom can influence and promote students' active awareness and ability of learning with rich and convenient physical and technical conditions,and help students develop good learning habits.The fourth part,conclusion and reflection.Based on the historical review and the current situation investigation,it is found that the hardware and software conditions of smart classroom will affect students' active learning awareness and ability.Therefore,Suggestions for improvement are put forward from the aspects of physical conditions,vitality interaction,resource acquisition and content presentation of smart classroom.Optimize the physical environment of smart classroom;Facilitating access to resources;Increase the interaction speed of life;Add content presentation.
