With the further advancement of the new curriculum reform,Curriculum standards for ordinary high school history(2017 edition)published in2018 profoundly summarize the valuable experience of curriculum reform in China's ordinary high schools since the 21 st century.Major changes have taken place in the aspects of curriculum philosophy,curriculum structure,curriculum content and implementation suggestions,and with stronger operability.World history is an indispensable part of the development of human history,has an irreplaceable position in the middle school history teaching.On the basis of systematically sorting out the existing experience and successful practices of the history curriculum reform in ordinary senior high schools for more than ten years,and combining with the latest research progress in the academic community,the content of world history in the new curriculum has also undergone many new changes: close combination with the core accomplishment of history discipline,pay more attention to the connection of middle and high school history knowledge,highlights the sociality and life of historical knowledge,pay attention to the integrity of the historical development process and greatly enhance the relevance with knowledge of other disciplines.These changes of the new curriculum standards not only put forward higher requirements for students' learning,but also brought greater challenges to teachers' teaching.The content of world history in the new curriculum standard not only adds some contents that are lacking in previous textbooks,but also strengthens the connection with other disciplines,such as philosophy,economy,law,medical and health care and more.Teachers must change the way they teach,as close as possible to students' real life in the process of teaching,stimulate students' interest in learning,tosupplement with vivid stories or material,increase the richness of the class,the correct use of multimedia assisted teaching to improve the effectiveness of the class,and according to the teaching content of flexible selection of teaching methods to enhance the vitality of world history class.At the same time,facing the enrichment and change of world history content of the new curriculum standard,teachers also need to strengthen their expertise in world history expand the depth of knowledge,and master more relevant knowledge of other fields,constantly enrich and develop their own,expand the width of knowledge.High school history teachers can only adapt to the world history teaching requirements in the context of the new curriculum standard by innovating teaching methods and continuously improving their professional level.
