Research On The Case Work Involved In The Social Rearing Of Orphaned Children In Welfare Homes

Childhood is a critical period in one's life,and it is also the main stage of individual socialization,which has a great influence on the later socialization.Orphaned children are abandoned by their parents and live in children's welfare institutions,which are responsible for the adoption and upbringing of the orphaned children without the care and accompaniment of their families.As China's welfare system has become more and more perfect,more welfare policies have been implemented efficiently,the rights and interests of orphaned children have been further protected,and the rearing pattern of welfare institutions has also been qualitatively changed,from the traditional model of "raising,governing,teaching" into a new type of "emotion,ability,intelligence" parenting model.However,there are some limitations in the foster care of welfare homes.The foster care mode of welfare homes is the mode of institutional care,and the insufficiency of institutional care results in the staff being unable to carry out the daily upbringing of orphaned and abandoned children as normal families do,the socialization of children is accomplished step by step under the guidance of adult's careful cultivation.Taking Y welfare home in x city as an example,this paper explores the advantages and disadvantages of residential care mode in welfare home on the basis of on-the-spot investigation and semi-structured interviews.Through the method of case work to study the Y welfare home on the level of socialization of Children's upbringing.First of all,through case study,this paper explores the influence of institutional care on the personality and psychology,social norm acquisition and social acceptance of abandoned children Secondly,through the conclusion of the case study,we can find out the deficiency of socialization of children in the Y welfareinstitution,and then help the children in the institution to learn these social norms and social customs,and promote the improvement of the parenting measures;At last,the author rethinks the conclusion of the study,rethinks the deficiency of the process model and revises it to promote the socialization level of children.
