| The abandoned children in the welfare home are a special group in society.Because there is no one to take care of them,they are arranged to the welfare home for centralized upbringing.Due to the influence of many factors,this special group has cognitive limitations on the value and meaning of life in the process of growing up,so it is particularly important to carry out life education.There are many ways or approaches to educate abandoned children,among which social work classroom is one of the important methods.Relying on the self-help concept and professional service methods adhered to the social work classroom,this article takes the H welfare home as a case to study the life education of abandoned children.The survey found that abandoned children have problems such as vague self-knowledge,difficulty in maintaining intimate relationships,and weak sense of rules.Accordingly,three stages of life education services including warm-up-import,person-to-person and person-to-person are provided for abandoned children through the professional methods of social work classroom.Research shows that the social work classroom intervention in the life education service have positive effects to the abandoned children on improving the self-cognition,optimizing the intimate relationship and cultivating the awareness of rules.However,in the process of intervening in the life education of abandoned children,there are also some problems,such as insufficient skills of social workers in the use of social work classroom,service plan to be further improved,and service effect is relatively limited.Therefore,we should enhance the professional service ability of social workers,design flexible service plans,strengthen the application of social work and so on to preferably serve the life education of abandoned children. |
