With the development of special education,the professional ethics of teachers in school for the mentally retarded has been paid more and more attention.The promulgation and implementation of the "Special Education Teachers' Professional Standards(Trial)" provides guidance for the construction of teacher's professional ethics in school for the mentally retarded.Professional ethics of teachers in school for the mentally retarded refers to the sum of relatively stable moral concepts,codes of conduct and moral qualities formed in the process of engaging in special education labor,which is the code of conduct that regulates the relationship between teachers in school for the mentally retarded and others,the collective and the society,and is the basic requirement of the society for the professional behaviors of teachers in school for the mentally retarded.The research on performance of teacher's professional ethics in mentally retarded school can enrich the theory of teachers' professional ethics in school for the mentally retarded,provide theoretical support for the construction of teachers' professional ethics in school for the mentally retarded,and deeply understand the present situation of teachers' professional ethics behavior in school for the mentally retarded and development.Based on the theory of moral internalization,constructivism and embodied moral education,this study discusses the professional ethics performance of teachers in school for the Mentally Retarded,puts forward educational suggestions for the construction of professional ethics of teachers in school for the mentally retarded,promotes the development of professional ethics of teachers in school for the mentally retarded.This paper discusses the characteristics of teachers' professional ethics,the particularity of caring for students in teacher's professional ethics in school for the mentally retarded and the importance of individual factors in the process of teacher's professional ethics in school for the mentally retarded growth.This study adopts the investigation method,the interview method,the case study method to carry on the research.Seven cities,nine school for the mentally retarded and 205 teachers were selected as the subjects of investigation and research.Among them,7 teachers were selected as the interview subjects,and four teachers' moral models above the municipal level were taken as the case study subjects.Using the self-compiled " Questionnaire of teachers' professional ethics in school forthe mentally retarded"," The interview outline of teachers' professional ethics in school for the mentally retarded",and "Case study of professional ethics of teachers in the mentally retarded school ",this paper studies the four dimensions of professional ethics of teachers in school for the mentally retarded: teaching and educating people,caring for students and being teachers,the paper also makes qualitative and quantitative analysis on the research data and related information,and discusses the overall performance of the professional ethics of teachers in school for the mentally retarded,the performance of different groups and the individual performance.The following conclusions are drawn: Teachers' professional ethics in the school for the mentally is good,the specific performance is to care fort students,loyalty to their duties,teaching and educating people,the second.The trend of professional ethics performance of teachers in different age,educational background,teaching age and professional title groups is basically the same.Middle-aged teachers have the best professional ethics performance.Caring for students,personal efforts and devotion to work are the key factors to improve the professional ethics of teachers in the school.This paper puts forward some educational Suggestions: to guide teachers to improve their professional ethics according to the characteristics of school for the mentally retarded;Vigorously carry out professional ethics education for teaches in school for the mentally retarded;Strengthening the system construction of teacher's professional ethics in school for the mentally retarded.
