In recent years,with the continuous advancement of quality education and the continuous change of social environment,the process of running a school by the first president has encountered unprecedented challenges and difficulties.The first president is appointed as the president for the first time in his career.He holds a leading position and has decision-making power and management power.His tenure is 1-3 years.The first president has the following characteristics: lack of job knowledge,but strong learning ability;wide range of source information,but lack of ability to filter information;very high interest in the work of the president.School management strategy refers to the collection of schemes adopted by the president to achieve the expected goals in the process of performing the statutory duties,including a series of important measures,means and skills.The principal should take into account the characteristics of systematization,selectivity and situational when making school management strategies.In the face of new environment and challenges,the school management strategy of the first president affects the development of the school,and the practical and theoretical significance of the research is constantly highlighted.From the perspective of current research,there is a lack of empirical research on the school management strategy of the first president in China,which restricts the systematic and scientific research on the school management strategy of the first president to a certain extent.In this paper,interview methods and case studies are used to conduct in-depth interviews with 15 primary school principals in 12 districts of Shanghai.Then,based on qualitative research methods based on grounded theory,the original data is coded and analyzed to construct the first principal's governance Models and influencing factors of the strategy.The research finds that the career development of the first president has periodicity and periodicity.According to the career development cycle,this study divides the school management strategies of the first president into three stages: integration stage strategy,stable development stage strategy,and innovation breakthrough stage strategy.The integration stage strategy is to determine the self positioning strategy in combination with its own characteristics and internal and external environment of the school.The primary school's first principals integrate themselves by defining the role transformation,building the interpersonal network and integrating into the school environment.The strategies in this period are generally social,adaptive and more humanized.The strategy of stable development period refers to the strategy of continuously strengthening the original advantages of the school,innovating in inheritance and gradually promoting the development of the school.In general,the first president promotes the stable development of the school by strengthening the characteristics of the school,standardizing the construction of the system and promoting the cooperation between the family and the school.The strategy of innovation breakthrough period refers to breaking through the difficulties in key work of the school and creating the internal driving force for the development of the school.The new headmaster mainly made a breakthrough in strengthening the construction of teachers,improving the construction of curriculum system and improving the construction of school culture.The strategy in this period generally has the characteristics of overall situation and strategy.Through the research,it is further found that the principal's own factors,the school's internal support and the school's external support affect the choice of the principal's school management strategy from three different dimensions,so as to construct the influencing factor model of the primary school's initial principal's school management strategy.According to the model,the primary school principals can optimize their school management strategies by improving their own quality,improving the internal environment of the school and cooperating with the external environment of the school.
