Popular science is an important literary style in primary school Chinese textbooks.Learning popular science is of great significance to the improvement of students' scientific literacy and reading and writing ability.However,textbook content is not the same as teaching content.Due to the lack of relatively clear standards,front-line teachers often feel confused when choosing and determining the teaching content of popular science,and the teaching content presented is often highly subjective.Therefore,this study takes primary school Chinese popular science teaching content as the research object,analyzes the composition of primary school Chinese popular science teaching content,in order to provide certain reference and enlightenment for front-line teachers to determine appropriate popular science teaching content.This study mainly adopts literature research method,textbook analysis method and class example research method.First of all,this paper sorts out the related research on the teaching content of popular science,thus laying a foundation for the definition of the concept in this study and the determination of the constituent elements of the teaching content of popular science.Secondly,this paper sorts out the teaching contents of the popular science articles summarized by the researchers,so as to summarize the elements of the teaching contents of the popular science articles in primary school Chinese.This study analyzes the Chinese elements and exercises related to the popular science text in the Chinese textbook,and takes this as one of the ways to determine the elements of the popular science content.Then,this paper summarizes the two classical popular science articles in the primary school Chinese textbook,analyzes the content of the popular science articles in thefirst-line teaching,and compares the theoretical and practical teaching contents of the popular science articles to find out the differences and analyze the reasons.By sorting out and the viewpoints of the researchers,this paper concludes eight main teaching contents of the popular science literature of primary school Chinese: scientific knowledge,explanatory methods,explanatory sequence,language features,word use,writing methods,reading skills,and language expression.However,the above teaching contents are not all involved in each article of popular science,but should be reasonably selected and adjusted according to the characteristics of "this article" and students' learning situation.The teaching contents of different types of popular science essays have their own emphases: the teaching of scientific essays focuses on the writing methods and the use of words and sentences;The teaching content of scientific exposition mainly focuses on raising and solving problems and reading skills,supplemented by appropriate extracurricular materials to help students learn,so as to ensure that the teaching content can be better implemented.In addition,the emphases of the teaching contents of the popular science articles in each learning section are also different.The teaching contents of the popular science articles in the first learning section are mainly the shallow popular science knowledge itself and the accumulation and application of the words in the text.The teaching content of the second section mainly involves the writing method of the article and training students to raise and solve problems.The third section focuses on the reading skills and explanatory methods.Therefore,teachers should consider the characteristics of the text and students' learning to select and determine the teaching content of popular science.
