Higher-order thinking ability is the hotspot of current educational research.It plays a key role in the happiness of personal life,national innovation and development,and the sustainable development of human society.The Chinese government is very concerned about the cultivation of students' higher-order thinking ability.In particular,in recent years,the compulsory education and high school curriculum plans and curriculum standards have been promulgated successively,all of which have repeatedly mentioned the cultivation of higher-order thinking and the updating of educational concepts.However,in the classroom teaching practice,especially the research around how to cultivate students' higher-order thinking ability in the chemistry classroom is still in the exploration stage.The reason is mainly due to the lack of a unified consensus on the elements of high-level thinking ability in high school chemistry,as well as the lack of effective methods for cultivating high-level thinking ability in chemistry.To this end,it is necessary to start from the connotation of higher-order thinking ability,carry out in-depth research on the elements of chemistry higher-order thinking ability and its training methods,in order to look forward to better guide high school chemistry teaching practice.Carrying out research on the cultivation of higher-order thinking in the teaching of chemistry can help students get methods and ways to adapt to the future society and solve specific problems.Secondly,it can help teachers find matching methods and models in teaching,help to implement and evaluate teaching,and better serve the quality of teaching.This study attempts to explore ways to promote the formation and development of students' advanced thinking through the design of chemistry teaching activities.And through a period of classroom teaching to test the activity design to help our school high school students develop higher-order thinking skills to help,provide a reference for strengthening students' higher-order thinking skills.The research mainly takes the form of action research,and is divided into the following stages: First,through interviews with chemistry teachers of our school,we understand the current status of high-level thinking ability of chemistry students in our school.Secondly,on the basis of the theoretical connotation of higher-order thinking ability,combining the characteristics of the chemistry discipline,combined with the activity design theory to formulate a higher-order thinking ability activity design framework.Finally,carry out the activity design practice of high-order thinking classroom teaching.
