| The specific historical environment,cultural background,and national identity of the United States gave birth to the school district system.This study is based on the national culture of the United States,using history as a clue to longitudinally examine the background and development of the school district system from 1776 to 1789;from the horizontal perspective,the operating institutions of the school district system-school district education committee and school district The emergence,development,and evolution of roles and responsibilities of the school superintendent,reveal the uniqueness and typical stage characteristics of their development process,and analyze the internal logic of the evolution of this system.The first part is an introduction.It mainly discusses the reasons for selecting the topic,core concepts,research ideas and methods,and literature review.Through the data combing,it is found that there is a lack of historical research on the development of the school district system at home and abroad,so this paper has a lot of research space.The second part is the establishment of the school district system(1776-1789).Mainly analyzes the origin of the school district system,reveals the historical origin and cultural background of the school district system from four aspects: the emergence of the school district,the right to run a school,the development of the education committee and the legal guarantee of the school district operation.In 1789,Massachusetts issued a decree to recognize the size and scope of the school district,self-sponsored school rights,and the rights and responsibilities of the school district education committee,and the school district system was officially established.The third part is the expansion of the school district system(1790-1837).The author first discusses the development of school districts,such as the promotion of school district system management forms and the strengthening of school district rights;then studies the creation of rural education committees and the administration of school district education committee institutions;The operating mechanism of theschool district system has been improved.The fourth part is the improvement of the school district system(1838-1875).It mainly examines the reasons and measures for the improvement of the school district system management model,the improvement of the rights and responsibilities of the school district education committee,the generation of full-time staff of the school district superintendent,the supervision and participation of the school principal,and the development of the diversification of duties and roles.The fifth part summarizes the development characteristics of the school district system and analyzes the historical impact on American education. |
