Educational supervision is an important part of modern education management,also one of the important measures.The construction of China's educational supervision system has been continuously improved,especially since the 19 th CPC National Congress,the reform of the educational supervision system is gradually deepening.While practitioners in the education system-related industries have gradually recognized the important role of educational supervision,they have also found that educational supervision has problems such as incomplete institutions,insufficient authority,and insufficient use of results.Considering the expectations of all social strata,there is still a large gap in the educational supervision.The author,as a front-line teacher fighting at the grassroots level,pays more attention to the status quo of the grassroots educational supervision.Therefore,the research took the status quo of educational supervision in Xindu District as the research object,and based on the comprehensive application of literature research,questionnaire surveys,interviews and other methods,to explore the problems and causes in the present situation of educational supervision in Xindu District.It's also gave the countermeasures and suggestions based on the mature experience of educational supervision in foreign or domestic pilot cities.It divided the existing problems of educational supervision in Xindu District into three categories:(1)The management methods of educational supervision,include the educational supervisor's position tends to administrative..,supervision function tends to administrative supervision and there are deficiencies in the evaluation process of supervision;(2)The construction of supervisor team,include inconsistent proportion of full-time and part-time supervisor,insufficient awareness of echelon team construction,and low professional level;(3)The effectiveness of supervision results,include the limited use of supervision results,low social participation,and the less communication and feedback between supervisors.The author explored the causes of the problems:(1)The management methods of educational supervision,the main reasons are that the grassroots educational supervision system is unsound,work is deeply influenced by traditional ideas,and the evaluation process itself has certain defects;(2)The construction of supervisor team,the main reasons are that the grassroots people's government doesn't recognize enough about the importance of educational supervision,inadequate construction of the supervisor team itself,and lack of supervisory qualification certification system.(3)The effectiveness of supervision results,the main reasons are that the feedback channels for educational supervision evaluation are not smooth,the schools don't pay enough attention to the supervision,the students and parents have weak awareness of educational supervision,and the social public groups have insufficient participation in educational supervision.Finally,based on the status quo of educational supervision in Xindu District,and the analysis of the problems and causes,the research proposed countermeasures and suggestions to solve the problems:(1)The management methods of educational supervision,include improve the grassroots educational supervision work system,promote the administrative and professional authority of educational supervision institutions,and enhance the leading role of grassroots people's governments in educational supervision;(2)Strengthen the construction of supervisor team,include improve the professional level and working ability of the supervisor team,gradually expand the proportion of full-time supervisors,promote the qualifications of supervisors,establish the concept of development of educational supervision to serve schools;(3)Promote the effectiveness of supervision results,include improve the application of supervision results based on the needs of different schools,improve the information and scientific level of educational supervision,strengthen the innovation and reform of grassroots educational supervision,and promote the specialization,innovation,and scientific level of the educational supervision.
