General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly stressed that it is necessary to solve the fundamental problem of cultivating people,how and for whom,and integrate the fundamental task of creating people by virtue into ideological and moral education.The implementation outline of citizen moral construction in the new era also puts forward that moral education should be based on education and moral education.The National Education Work Conference in 2020 still emphasizes on improving the pertinence and effectiveness of carrying out the fundamental task of creating people by virtue.It can be seen that it is extremely important and urgent to strengthen the ideological and moral education of students in today's new situation and new challenges.The theme class meeting usually has the clear theme,because it has the purpose,the plan and the organization and so on typical characteristic,gradually receives the educator's attention and attention.As one of the main channels of moral education for students,the smooth development of thematic class meeting is not only conducive to the educators to promote the in-depth study of the relevant theories of thematic class meeting,but also to ensure that the school really as a course better use and implementation.At present,scholars have made theoretical explanations on the theme class meeting of middle school from different angles,but the practical research is still lacking.This paper takes five middle schools in A City as the survey object,carries on the questionnaire survey to the seventh grade to the second grade students,and auxiliary with the teacher interview,finally makes the detailed analysis to the questionnaire and the interview result.This paper discusses the current situation of the middle school theme class meeting and finds the following problems:first,the moral evaluation system and the actual development are "derailed";second,the class hours of the moral education theme class meeting are not guaranteed;third,the educational environment in the moral education theme class meeting is not ideal;fourth,the content of the moral education theme class meeting is divorced from the reality and the form is single;and the fifth is the relative lack of the subjectivity of the students in the moral education theme class meeting.Based on this,it has become an urgent task to study the present situation and countermeasures of moral education theme class meeting.Aiming at the above problems,this study combines theory with practice and puts forward some effective and feasible countermeasures:to construct a scientific and perfect evaluation system of moral education;to establish the school management system of the moral education theme class meeting;to create an ideal educational environment for the moral education theme class meeting;to cultivate and improve teachers' professional quality;and to enhance students' consciousness of subject participation in the moral education theme class meeting.This article focuses on the middle school moral education theme class meeting investigation and proposed countermeasures,this paper aims to improve the students' moral level and the balanced development of other aspects,realize the moral education function of the theme class meeting,and provide reference for the teachers in the design and development of the theme class meeting.
