Since the promulgation of the Convention on the rights of the child,children's participation,as an important issue of children's development,has been widely concerned around the world.Workers from all over the world are committed to extending the content of children's participation,expanding the channels of children's participation and creating the atmosphere of children's participation,so as to promote children's real participation.As one of the important community groups,children's community participation is not only conducive to their own development,but also conducive to the development of community democracy.However,in the current community participation system,children are excluded from the community participation groups with adults as the mainstream,resulting in the unclear concept of children's community participation,insufficient awareness of community participation,inadequate development of participation ability and other issues,which is not conducive to the personal growth and community construction and development of children.Based on the above background,this paper takes the micro governance of community environment as the starting point,based on the professional practice of social work,through participating in the children's community environmental micro governance project of X organization,to carry out professional social work services for children in X community,s street,Jinniu District,Chengdu City,in order to change the current situation of children's participation in social work.By using the methods of questionnaire,observation,and interview,this paper studies the problem of children's community participation,explores the social work intervention methods and effectiveness of children's participation in community environmental micro governance,and provides practical work ideas for children's social workers to promote children's community participation.Taking community X as a study case,it is found that children often have some difficulties in community environmental governance,such as insufficient personal participation ability,weak interpersonal support network,limited opportunities for community participation,etc.,and they need to improve their personal participation ability.After practical exploration and research,it is found that,based on the regional development model,rebuilding the school of community governance,cultivating the backbone of children in the community,establishing community "children" Parliament,formulating "children" Parliament Convention and implementing community environmental micro governance actions can effectively improve children's awareness and ability to participate in community affairs in urban communities with better economic foundation.These experiences can be used for reference for other similar community children to participate in community environmentalmicro governance or other community public affairs in order to increase energy and empowerment.
