Yoga asana requires the human body in different planes of joint flexion and extension, muscle stretching,as well as the balance of the body, extrusion, torsion and so on.There are more and more cases of injury due to yoga practice. Therefore, finding scientific methods to effectively prevent and reduce yoga sports injury is the top priority at present. In the field of exercise training, functional action screening is a method to predict the risk of injury in athletes, which is used to assess the muscle strength, flexibility, symmetry, and the weak chain and movement limitation shown in exercise.Yoga is popular with female college students, but the damage of yoga teaching occurs from time to time. Therefore, this study attempts to introduce functional action screening into college physical education yoga teaching,to evaluate female college students for functional action screening,on the one hand,to find out whether female college students have physical dysfunction and the potential risk of sports injury,on the other hand, through scientific corrective training to reduce the probability of yoga teaching injury,so as to improve female college students' exercise performance and improve yoga teaching effect. The subjects of this study were female students of Grade 2018 in Physical Yoga Option Course of Northwest Normal University.according to the results of functional action screening before the experiment,61 female college students were divided into 14 criteria,<14 points into high risk group and ≥14 points into low risk group.then, the high risk group was randomly divided into high risk experimental group and high risk control group, and the low risk group was randomly divided into low risk experimental group and low risk control group. All female college students received 16 weeks of yoga teaching,in which corrective training was used to intervene in the experimental group and the control group to carry out routine teaching. After 16 weeks of yoga teaching, there was no significant difference in the scores before and after the functional action screening test of the two groups in the control class, but the functional action screening scores before and after the two groups in the experimental class were very significant. The scores of functional action screening in both groups were significantly improved.According to statistics, there were no injuries in the low-risk experimentalgroup,2 in the low-risk control group,2 in the high-risk experimental group and 11 in the high-risk control group. The results showed that :1)After functional action screening test,it was found that the functional problems of female college students were: lack of joint flexibility, muscle tension, poor stability of core area, weak strength of upper and lower limbs,etc.2)after16 weeks of corrective training, the scores of functional action screening in the high-risk experimental group and the low-risk experimental group were significantly improved, and there was no significant difference in the total score before and after the experiment high risk control group and the low risk control group.3)correction training can predict the risk of yoga teaching injury for female college students to some extent, but there are two female college students in the high risk experimental group,so it has some limitations.4)functional action screening scores were inversely related to the probability of yoga teaching injury.5)correction training program can appropriately improve the female college students functional action screening score, and the lower the score before the experiment, the greater the improvement, the more obvious the effect.
