As a project with a high frequency of school physical education courses, basketball is also sought after by students of all school sections because of their high ornamentation and popularity, but due to the confrontational nature of basketball and their own characteristics, many movements of this sport require various forms of physical contact and jumping, landing, emergency stop, emergency rise or complete fall of the body to the ground. In these processes,it is also very easy to cause unexpected sports injuries,so it is of great significance to find a scientific and effective way to prevent basketball teaching injuries at this stage for physical education. In the field of sports training, functional action screening, that is,FMS,has been confirmed to be a better method for predicting the risk of injury in athletes, and has been widely used at home and abroad. The main role of this test is to identify subjects’ muscle strength, flexibility, symmetry, and weak chains and motor limitations exhibited in movement. Therefore, based on the phenomenon of sports injuries in the process of specialized teaching of high school basketball, the author conducts experimental research on the prevention of teaching injuries for students in the basketball special class of Shanghai Gaoqiao Middle School through the introduction of functional motor screening(FMS)and its corrective training.Explore the practical application of sports injury prevention in physical education teaching practice. So as to better serve to enhance students’ physical fitness and improve students’ health. The subjects of this study were 80 basketball students from Shanghai Gaoqiao Middle School.Based on the pre-experimental functional action screening test score,80 students were placed in a high-risk group with a score of 14 points or less, and those with a pre-test score of less than 14 points were grouped into a high-risk group Those with a pre-test score of 14 points were included in the medium-risk group, and those with a pre-test score higher than 14 points were classified into the low-risk group;all experimental subjects Both received 8 weeks of basketball special lessons +corrective training instructionAfter 8 weeks of teaching experiments, the scores of the functional action screening tests of the three groups of experimental subjects were improved to varying degrees, especially before and after the highrisk group There was a very significant difference in the scores of functional action screening before and after.According to statistics, the high-risk group reported 8 student injuries in the six months before the experiment, the medium-risk group reported 3 student injuries, the low-risk group did not report injuries, the high-risk group reported 2 cases of injury after the experiment, and the mediumrisk group and the low-risk group reported injuries after the experiment. The results of the study show: 1 Corrective training based on functional action screening test results can help subjects improve functional action screening test scores, and there is no significant difference in the pre-test results of boys and girls in high school basketball special class groups.2.The increase in the score of the subject’s functional action screening test is related to the results of the pre-test,and the subjects with the lower the pre-test score also have a larger overall improvement after the experiment, but whether the two are completely inversely correlated, that is,the lower the pre-test score, the greater the post-test improvement needs to be further tested.3.The increase in the individual scores of the functional action screening test before and after the experiment was inconsistent with the effect achieved after the experiment, and the increase in shoulder flexibility and active straight knee leg lift was significantly better than that of the torso stability push-up and antirotation stability. This is related to the difficulty of each individual test action itself and the different requirements of the subject, and may also be related to the length of the intervention experiment cycle and the correction of the training content.4.The impairment of functional action screening pre-test scores above 14 and below 14 groups confirmed that the experimental pre-test score was inversely correlated with basketball teaching injury, that is,the risk of injury was high with low pre-test score. However, the basketball teaching injury situation in the group with a score of 14 points also showed that the use of 14 points as the threshold for basketball teaching injury risk assessment has certain limitations.5.Functional action screening has a good effect on injury prevention in basketball teaching, the test tools are simple, the test methods are easy to learn, and the corrective training implementation formulated according to the test results is less affected by the field equipment, and can be promoted as a better method of sports injury prevention in secondary school physical education.
