The Citizen's public consciousness has the very important value and the significance to the harmonious society construction as well as the individual personality harmonious development,but the public consciousness formation is imperceptible and the unceasing practice process.School-age children are not only the period of laying the foundation of learning,but also the important period of psychological development.Children better participate in social welfare practice,can learn in action to provide more people with the help or service.This research takes the JD Angel of Public Welfare Project which the author participated as a volunteer as a concrete example,through the methods of literature research,participant observation and interview,this paper analyzes the practical activities of social work in the cultivation of public welfare awareness of school-age children,and puts forward some suggestions for improvement and related professional thinking.This paper first discusses the current situation,problems and influencing factors of the cultivation of public welfare awareness of school-age children,and analyzes the advantages of social work participation in the cultivation of public welfare awareness of school-age children,such as the similarities between social work idea and public welfare idea,social work has rich experience in the field of children's practice,and the professional method of social work is practical in the cultivation of children's public welfare awareness.Secondly,taking the JD little angel of Public Welfare project carried out by the X work organization as an example,this paper discusses in detail the concrete practice of social work participating in the cultivation of public welfare awareness of school-age children in a professional way,such as the Organization of Group practice activities and community practice activities,as well as cooperation with the government organizations to carry out a number of social welfare activities,and the analysis of the results achieved,it has been proved that the professional method of social work plays a positive role in the cultivation of public welfare awareness of school-age children.Then the article for the Social Work Organization carried out by the practice of the shortcomings of the analysis,as well as put forward related optimization recommendations.It is found that the characteristics of the public welfare activities of theproject need to be further highlighted,the design of the activities a little less innovative,in all aspects of the details of the activities need to be improved and so on.The suggestions include that the overall design of the project is closer to the theme of Public Welfare,the detailed design of the activity is closer to the needs of the children,the stage characteristics of school-age children are fully taken into account,and the activity is carried out with more professional features of social workers,form a good partnership with parents and schools,and constantly improve their professional service capacity.Finally,the author summarizes the role of social work in the cultivation of public welfare awareness among school-age children,and makes professional reflections from the theoretical and practical levels,finally,the paper summarizes the practical activities of social work in the cultivation of public welfare awareness of school-age children.The first enriches the service content,consummates the coherent service plan,the second innovates the working method,seeks the high platform cooperation,the third value media propaganda,expands the social work popularity and the influence.
