Research On The Growth Model Of Academic Research And Academic Entrepreneurial Output Of Domestic Key Universities

With the continuous upgrading of national innovation strategy,as the creative source of national and social important knowledge and technology,universities undertake the three major missions of cultivating talents for national development,scientific research and serving the society,and are committed to building a number of world-class competitive first-class universities and disciplines.The domestic universities education resources in various regions and universities,the problem of unbalanced distribution is serious between traditional university at the request of the present knowledge economy age looking for border with economic and social,that is the development of basic research,fosters the talent or follow the development requirements of The Times,attaches great importance to the knowledge of the potential economic value development within the academic entrepreneurship? At present,academic entrepreneurship in every universities has the tendency to homogenize,establish a technology transfer office,scientific research resources to applied research and so on measures to encourage academic entrepreneurship,but "go with the flow" of universities to carry out academic entrepreneurial universities neglect its own advantage and disadvantage,the long-term development of academic research and academic entrepreneurship produce bigger effect.Therefore,this study hopes to provide referential Suggestions on the policy setting and management system of the university and the government through the research on academic research and the growth mode of academic entrepreneurship in various universities.This research uses 112 domestic key universities as a sample,obtains relevant data from 2007 to 2016 through multiple official second-hand databases,and establishes a negative binomial regression model to explore the growth model of academic research and academic entrepreneurship output.The results of this study show that :(1)with the development of time,the scientific research scale and scientific research capacity of universities are continuously improved,and the academic research and academic entrepreneurship performance also show a continuous growth trend.In addition,the academic research and academic entrepreneurship performance show great regional differences.(2)Government funding is still the most important source of funds for universities,supporting the establishment of basic research facilities such as infrastructure and laboratories,which tends to support academic research and negatively regulate the growth of academic entrepreneurship.But reliance on government funding may have reduced competition among universities and slowed the growth of academic research.In addition,the motivation of enterprise funding mainly lies in the transformation of technological innovation and technological commercial value,so there is a negative impact on the growth of academic research.(3)Entrepreneurship orientation is conducive to the formation of entrepreneurship culture in universities and promotes the recognition of the entrepreneurship role of universities by researchers and all sectors of society;However,the establishment of independent technology transfer institutions and a large patents stock have a significant negative impact on the occupation of limited resources in universities on the growth rate of academic research,and there is no significant positive effect on the growth of income from patent application and technology transfer.(4)The technology demand has a great pulling effect on technology innovation and technology transfer,provides space for the improvement and development of the economic value of technological achievements,and can effectively promote the growth of technology transfer income.However,the negative effect of technology demand on the growth of patent application may be related to the asymmetry of demand information and the fluctuation of demand.(5)Academic entrepreneurship has great development space in regions with good innovation level and innovation atmosphere.The gathering of high-tech industries provides a large number of development opportunities for technology commercialization and industry-university-research cooperation.The higher innovation knowledge and awareness of the whole industry can promote the smooth transfer of technological achievements and the transformation of economic value.However,the number of high-tech industries is significantly negatively related to the increase in the number of patent applications.This research is based on the relevant research results of university academic entrepreneurship and academic research development at the current stage.It reveals the impact of government funding and entrepreneurial orientation on the growth model of academic research output,as well as the impact of external technology demand and industrial aggregation characteristics on the growth model of academic entrepreneurship;The research results of this paper are conducive to the rational planning of academic managers and academic entrepreneurship activities,the resources input,incentive measures,and the promotion of interactive cooperation with external technology markets to enhance the academic entrepreneurship output of universities.
