The Study On The Impact Of Aging Population Of Rural On Agricultural Output Growth In Shaanxi Province

The fifth census data shows that China has entered an aging society in 1999.In recent years,domestic scholars have different opinions on the impact of China's population aging on labor supply and economic development.The agricultural output of shaanxi province is the first in northwest China,and the agricultural development level of shaanxi province has a great influence on the agricultural economy of the whole northwest region.The aging of rural population in shaanxi province is deeper and faster than the national and shaanxi provinces.This paper takes shaanxi province as the research object,analyzing the relationship between the aging of rural population and the growth of agricultural output from theory and demonstration respectively.It is concluded that the aging of rural population in shaanxi province has negative effect on agricultural output growth by affecting the supply of agricultural labor force,but the effect is not significant.This paper first theoretically combed the population aging and labor supply and the relationship between economic growth,analyzed the influence of rural population aging on agricultural output growth in shaanxi province through economic growth theory,labor supply theory and population aging theory.The rural population aging will by influencing the quantity and quality of agricultural labor supply and labor participation rate affect agricultural output growth directly,and by agricultural management pattern,agricultural mechanization level,the agricultural capital investment and science and technology application affect the rural output growth indirectly.Then it empirically tests the theoretical analysis through econometric model and verifies that the aging of rural population in shaanxi province has negative influence on agricultural output growth.Lastly,in view of that future development of shaanxi province,it put forward Suggestions for improve agricultural mechanization,raising agricultural subsidies,developing non-agricultural economy,increasing farmers' science and technology culture,encouraging the circulation of land and so on.
