The Research On Local Residents Demands For National Forest Park Wellness Tourism In Changsha

With the rapid development of China's economy and the accelerating process of urbanization,people has begun to shift from subsistence needs to health needs,and the deterioration of urban environmental quality has strengthened people's demand and de-sire for health and wellbeing as well.Forest park health tourism has become more and more popular with its natural function of ecological health.Changsha has superior forest tourism resources and forest park health tourism is gradually developing,too.However,there are very few researches on the health tourism needs of local residents in Changsha.Therefore,researching the needs of health tourism in forest parks and putting forward corresponding suggestions are of great significance to the construction and development of forest parks.This article takes the Changsha residents as the research object and analyses the health tourism needs of the forest park.First of all,it collates and analyses the literature data on the forest park health tourism in China and overseas,then discusses and defines related concepts such as health tourism,forest park,tourism demand,etc.;Secondly,based on the tourism demand theory and traditional Chinese health theory,design ques-tionnaires from the following four aspects:demographic characteristics of Changsha residents,preference and visiting rates of forest parks,willingness of choosing forest park's health tours and important impacting factors of health tourism in forest parks,then conduct surveys to study forest park health tourism demand of Changsha Residents,which concludes as follows:(1)Visiting rates and preference of forest parks:70%of people pay less attention to health care;60%of people have low awareness of forest health tourism;local resi-dents' visiting rates to Tianjiling National Forest Park is the highest,and to Ningxiang Phoenix Mountain National Forest Park is the lowest.(2)In regards to demand for forest park health tourism,the purpose of the public travel is mainly "health resort","forest tourism","entertainment and fitness" and "lei-sure vacation";most residents tend to travel short distances and prefer to drive by themselves with families and friends during summer and autumn;People prefer to choose forest park during 2-3 public holiday period.The main problems of forest parks that the public concerns are poor infrastructure and inconvenient transportation.Sight-seeing,forest health maintenance,and forest hot springs are the three most popular items for the public.(3)The important influencing factors of forest health tourism:Women prefer a quiet atmosphere,a clean environment,and men prefer entertainment experiences;As the age goes older,the more emphasis is placed on natural ecological environment,ser-vice and safety of forest parks,as well as provision of health food and beverages;the higher the education level and income level,the more attention is paid to the health experience gained in the forest park.Finally,in response to all these problems,this paper proposes:put more effort in forest park health products design and promotion;improve infrastructure construction of national forest parks;strengthen branding and marketing of health resources and products in forest parks.
