| Shandong Province is a large agricultural province with a large agricultural population.The large income gap between urban and rural areas is a long-standing and deep-rooted problem.The difference between urban and rural development leads to the flow of factors of production and promotes the productivity of the whole society.To a certain extent,the income gap between urban and rural areas will form an incentive mechanism to promote social economic development,but excessive urban-rural income gap will lead to social instability and economic disorder.Shandong Province is the fifth province in China to realize the leap-forward transformation of the tertiary industry-led economy.The conclusions of the study on Shandong Province can be used for reference in other regions and provinces that are undergoing industrial restructuring.Speed up the pace of the provinces out of the difficult situation.In the existing literature,most scholars choose the whole country as the object of study,although it has some reference significance for the overall development of urban and rural areas in Shandong Province,but it has no pertinence.Based on the data of Shandong Province,the policy recommendations proposed in this paper are more in line with the social and economic characteristics and development situation of the object of study.In the present research,the ratio of the output value of the second and third industries is taken as the index to measure the adjustment of industrial structure,which does not reflect the rationalization and dynamic development process of the adjustment of industrial structure.This paper introduces the index of industrial conversion degree,control variable and secondary explanation variable to ensure the dynamic and comprehensive of the research.In the theoretical analysis,this paper chooses urbanization,employment structure and economic development level as secondary explanatory variables.Because of the dynamic and long-term characteristics of the industrial structure adjustment,it is necessary to choose a longer research period as far as possible.This paper selects the data of Shandong Province from 1975 to 2016.Through the dynamic econometric model to analyze the effect of industrial structure adjustment on urban-rural income gap,using the unit root test,cointegration test,error correction model Granger causality test,impulse response function curve and other empirical tools.In the course of the study,the variables such as the level of tax burden,the level of economic development,the level of financial development,the level of urbanization and the amount of capital per capita are excluded.The result of this paper shows that the adjustment of industrial structure is the main influencing factor of the income gap between urban and rural areas,and its influence channel is to explain the variables through the employment structure this time.Among them,the contrast coefficient of tertiary industry,that is,the process of transforming from secondary industry to tertiary industry,plays an important role in enlarging the income gap between urban and rural areas in the short term.The comparison coefficient of secondary industry,the optimization of employment structure and the income gap between urban and rural areas have long-term reverse equilibrium relationship.Based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward the following policy recommendations:first,to improve the employment absorption capacity of the tertiary industry to rural residents,to play the role of secondary industry development in regulating the income of urban and rural residents;second,To increase human capital investment to rural residents,to reform the household registration system,to realize the free flow of labor between urban and rural areas;third,to coordinate the distribution of the three industries between urban and rural areas,and to improve the current situation of rural economic development mainly relying on traditional agriculture,promoting agricultural modernized in Shandong Province. |
