Research On Suning's Working Capital Management Under O2O Mode

The flourishing development of e-commerce promotes the great transformation of our social consumption habits,which brings great pressure to the traditional retail industry.In addition,the downward trend of China's economy,the traditional retail industry must carry on the transformation of business mode.With the advantage of the Internet,suning has been actively promoting the transformation of business mode in recent years and has actively developed the e-business model and formed a more competitive 020 model.However,whether a company has a perfect working capital management mode is directly related to the profitability of the enterprise,and ultimately affects its operation efficiency.In this study,taking suning as an example,when the 020 model is transformed,it is discussed whether the new requirements for operating capital management will be put forward and the way it will be affected.Chapter 2 first analyzes the operational characteristics of 020 retail enterprises,and further elaborates the concepts and theories related to working capital management,and constructs an 020 operational fund management evaluation index system that includes multiple factors.Liquidity,profitability,etc.are analyzed as key indicators.Chapter 3 uses Suning as an example to collect data on the working capital of Suning for a total of six years before and after 2013.After analyzing its working capital structure,it begins with three perspectives:liquidity,profitability,and risk.Quantitative analysis was conducted in detail,and a series of issues such as unbalanced working capital structure under Suning's 020 model,decline in corporate profitability,increased efficiency of working capital,and lack of self-owned funds were proposed.Chapter 4 addresses the issue of working capital management under Suning's 020 model in the previous section,and proposes improvement suggestions on how to manage it more effectively,including diversified investment,multi-channel financing,slow promotion of the same price strategy,and strengthening of the establishment of supply chain and active establishment of long-term and stable cooperation relationships with suppliers.These solutions will effectively alleviate the low efficiency of the management of working capital owned by Suning and also similar 020 model retail companies,and are of great significance to the study of the working capital management of this case and similar enterprises.Finally,it summarizes how the 020 model affects the working capital management of the retail industry,and puts forward the limitations of this article and the entry point for subsequent research.
