Research On The Effect Evaluation Of Popular Science Signage In ZhangJiajie National Forest Park

With the rapid economic growth and increasing social pressure in China,more and more tourists are showing a preference for forest recreation.Forest Park is not only an important habitat for animals and plants,but also an important place for visitors to carry out science education activities.Nevertheless,due to the rapid development of China's forest parks,the current lack of full use of popular science education in forest parks has been a problem.Therefore,how to scientifically and effectively use tourism resources in the scenic areas to launch popular science education activities has become an important issue that needs to be solved urgently.This article based on communication theory and environmental education theory,a preliminary forest park popular science signage effect evaluation scale was constructed,and then the Delphi method was used to revise the indicator of the scale through three rounds of expert consultation to determine the final rating scale.The final rating scale is divided into two first-level layers:display effect and education effect.The first-level layers are divided into six second-level layers:content,design,placement,knowledge,consciousness,and behavior(willingness).There are 33 indicators under the second-level layers.This paper evaluation the effect of the popular science signage in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park,based on the expert's weight,the author's on-site survey and the rating of visitors.The conclusions are as follows:1)Experts' weighted scores:? The domain indicators in Display effect are:content is easy to understand,content illustrations,beautiful shape design,proper font and size,appropriate position for placement,suitable height.?The domain indicators in Education effect are:knowledge of geological(structural)characteristics acquired,consciousness of the fear of nature,producing behaviors that protect the ecological environment(behavior of one's own behavior).2)On-site survey:Popular science signage can be divided into 4 categories according to material classification in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park:stone quality,wood(small)quality,wood(middle)quality and wood(large)quality;The material quality is generally good,but most of them content is simple,lack of maintenance,serious damage and difficult to identify content information;The popular science signage are mainly distributed in Yuanjiajie,Shuiraosimen and Tianzishan,while the rest is less distributed;The content mainly focus on geological science.3)Rating of visitors:?Higher score indicators in Display effect are:suitable size design,the length of the words is appropriate.Lower score indicators in Display effect are:correct and clear information,appropriate position for placement,suitable height.? Higher score indicators in Education effect are:producing behaviors that protect the ecological environment(behavior of one's own behavior),knowledge of geological(structural)characteristics acquired.Lower score indicators in Display effect are:knowledge of climate(meteorological)acquired,knowledge of animals acquired,generated environmental donations willingness.From the above,experts believe that important indicators such as content illustrations,appropriate position for placement,suitable height etc.but author through on-site survey found that the construction in these areas was not good.At the same time,visitors have lower score in these indicators.This shows that there are still some problems in the construction of popular science signage in ZhangJiajie National Forest Park.In view of this,this paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions that we should pay attention to the construction of popular science signage,in-depth exploration the knowledge of popular science tourism resources and improve the level of management services.
