The agglomeration effect refers to the concentration of various production activities in geographical location that produces economic benefits for regional development and the centripetal force that causes the accumulation of production elements to a certain region. It is the basic factor to promote the development of regional cities.Agglomeration is generally divided into population agglomeration, industrial agglomeration, urban agglomeration, etc. This article mainly studies the regional difference of agglomeration effect and its relationship with regional economic growth from two aspects of industrial agglomeration and urban agglomeration.City agglomeration is the main carrier of economic agglomeration, and agglomeration and agglomeration of cities enhance the competitive advantage and growth level of urban agglomeration through agglomeration effect, which becomes an important factor to promote regional economic growth. However, due to the comprehensive influence of regional factors such as resource elements, the regional differentiation of industrial agglomeration and urban agglomeration with strong degree and characteristic performance leads to the complexity of the impact on the regional economy and even the growth of economic constraints. Therefore, studying the regional differences in urban agglomeration and industrial agglomeration and their relationship with regional economic growth has become a key research issue in this field at present. The middle reaches of the Yangtze River also become one of the three core areas of the Yangtze River economic belt.It is also the blueprint to realize the rapid development of the central region. It embodies the key area of deepening the reform and opening up and speeding up the development of new urbanization. It is of great strategic significance in the future of China's time and space development. Therefore, this article will provide some suggestions for the government agencies to set up the development policy for the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, based on the relevant research results of the research area of the Yangtze River in the future.Based on the theory of industrial agglomeration and urban agglomeration, this dissertation selects the relevant data and statistical indicators to make a statistical analysis of the overall development of the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River at the same time.At the same time,it compares the urban and industrial development of urban agglomerations and sub-urban agglomerations in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.Secondly, using the method of location entropy to measure the Industrial Agglomeration index and the City Agglomeration index of 31 cities in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River Delta, the spatial models of three cross-sectional years of 2000,2008 and 2014 are selected, and the Kriging method of EDSA is used to study the industries of these 31 urban agglomerations Agglomeration, the development of urban agglomeration. The results show that although the industrial agglomeration in the urban agglomeration of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River is less coordinated than that of urban agglomeration, the convergence of industrial agglomeration and urban agglomeration shows obvious consistency or interactivity.Furthermore,we draw on existing research results, select the city and industry concentration as the core variables, select the index of science and technology research and development, openness, economic benefits and other indicators as the control variables to build a space Dobbin model, from an empirical point of view of industry, city concentration degree The Impact of Economic Growth on the Overall and Sub-urban Agglomerations of the Urban Agglomerations in the Midstream of the Yangtze River. The results show that: First, the core explanatory variables such as urban agglomeration and the degree of economic openness play an important role in promoting the development of regional economy. However, the influence of the other core variables of industrial agglomeration index and scientific and technological research and development on regional economic development is not obviously,it does not play its due role. The government behavior factors, especially the government intervention, have shown a negative direction in the development of regional economy for a certain period of time.Second, the spatial spillover effects of most economic factors on regional economic development are obvious, but there is not much difference in the direct effects. This shows that neighboring cities have obvious spatial correlation in industrial agglomeration, economic openness, economic benefits, government behavior and quality of life.On the basis of the above conclusions, combining the development status of urban agglomerations in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, relatively recommend policies to promote regional economic growth: promote appropriate industrial agglomeration, fully exert agglomeration effects;rationally mobilize essential factors and optimize regional industrial structure;actively stimulate social needs,To create a good competitive environment;localities need to adapt measures to local conditions, implement differentiated policies and measures;deal with the relationship between industrial agglomeration, urbanization and regional economy and promote mutually beneficial development.
