Study On The Endowment Insurance Of Migrant Workers In QuanZhou

China is a country with a big gap in economic development between East and West.With the intensification of the urbanization process,more and more rural people make their living in cities and towns,and the special groups of migrant workers are derived from them.Migrant workers have made great contributions to the economic development and urban construction of cities and towns,but their old-age security problems are not perfect.Many migrant workers find they can't enjoy the corresponding rights and interests when they in the face of unemployment,illness,old age and other circumstances.And this can cause social problems.In this paper,Quanzhou city is selected as the object of study.First of all,the author makes an overview and explanation of the whole research topic.Then expounds the background and significance of the subject research.Collate and evaluate the current research situation at home and abroad.In the text,the author defines the concept of migrant workers and pension insurance.As the same time further explaining the social security theory and equity theory.By means of literature research method,comparative study and questionnaire survey method,the author finds that there are some problems in the endowment insurance for migrant workers in Quanzhou.For example,migrant workers have low enthusiasm,low payment base for endowment insurance and low pension insurance benefits and so on.There are many reasons for these problems,and the government,enterprises and individuals can not shirk their responsibilities.The basic reason,this article believed that needs to consummate the peasant worker old-age insurance system pattern.From migrant workers low wages,strong liquidity,insufficient awareness of the characteristics of old-age security,making flexible pension insurance system of migrant workers.At the same time,government departments should strengthen the supervision and management of enterprises.But also to raise the awareness of old-age insurance for migrant workers,and strengthen the propaganda work of old-age insurance.Finally,I hope this research can provide reference for the government to formulate relevant policies.
