Job Analysis is the process of systematically collecting all kinds of relevant information of a job.It plays a fundamental and irreplaceable role in human resource management and management psychology.What's more,job analysis is the basis of decision-making and an important tool for various management activities such as recruitment,selection,training,salary management and performance evaluation.In this study,the management positions and employees in these positions of two highway companies in Chongqing were analyzed through the US authoritative workplace O~*NET job analysis system.This study include 3 studies,in study 1 we revised the “Chinese Work Style Scale ”,using the exploratory factor analysis.In study 2 we collect data from 102employees' general work activity and work style of these two companies for the purpose for investigating the relationship between above two factors and job performance.In Study 3 we find the items where excellent staff and non-merit staff have significant difference in GWA and WS,and try to analyze the causes of the formation,which can be effective basis for enterprise restructuring and reform.Through professional correlation analysis,the results of the research on target enterprises are as follows:(1)The revised Chinese Work Style Scale has good reliability and validity and the model fit achieves a good level.(2)In the demographic variables of target company employees,the age and work years have a significant positive correlation with the job performance.That is to say,the older,the longer work time is,the better their job performance.(3)The total score and seven dimensions of general work activities,namely information input,information processing,reasoning and decision making,general physical labor,complex technical activities,communication and communication,coordinated development and management,have significant correlations with job performance.After a regression analysis,the length of service,The three factors of complex technology activities and coordinated development management can significantly predict the overall performance of the two companies.Among them,coordinateddevelopment and management have significant predictability for the performance of company A and company B.(4)The overall scores and four dimensions of the work style are related to caring for others,teamwork,courage,and cautiousness.There is significant correlation between work performance and performance.After regression analysis,we found that seniority,caring for others,challenges,and teamwork can be significantly predicted.The overall performance of the two companies.Among them,the working styles of company A and company B are more inclined to care for others and challenges.(5)There are significant differences in the main work activities and preference work styles of excellent performance employees and non-excellent employees in each department.(6)In the work activities of the Operations Department,the employees with good performance and non-superior employees have “information input”,“information processing”,“reasoning decision”,“general manual labor,” “complicated technical activities”,“communication and communication”,and “coordinated development”.There are significant differences in the seven dimensions of "management and management." The six general activities of "Use of computer activities","Guidance and incentives for subordinates","Professional advice","Human resources management" and "resource supervision" are specified.There are significant differences between the project,the premium group and the non-performance group.The four dimensions of the work style of “caring for others”,“teamwork”,“challenge”,and “conscientiousness” all reach a significant difference.(7)At the work activity level,there are significant differences in the "information processing","reasoning decision-making" and "coordination development and management" among the top-notch employees and non-superior employees in the Road and Construction Engineering Department.Further analysis of the work activity project found that there was only one“work time”work activity project,and there was a significant difference between the good and bad performance groups.From the aspect of work style,all the four dimensions of the work style of “caring for others”,“teamwork”,“challenge”,and “conscientiousness” achieved significant differences.(8)Employees with excellent performance in logistics management and non-superior employees in the "information input","information processing","reasoning decision","complicated technical activities," "communication and communication","coordination development and management".There are significant differences in terms of dimensions.Further analysis of the sub-projects of work activities results in "assessed quantity activities","analysed data or information","innovative thinking","consultation and conflict resolution" and "administrative office work" 5 For the work activities,the differences between the premium group and the non-performance group were significant,and in terms of work style,all dimensions of“caring for others”,“teamwork”,“challenge”,and“conscientiousness”all achieved significant differences.
