Power transformer is one of the most important power equipments in power transmission and transformation project construction.It's development is subject to the power construction at home and abroad.The domestic manufacturers are in high market shares due to the price advantage in 220kV and below voltage market.Joint venture companies are in the 500kV and more high-end market with big shares through control of core technologies,research and development strengths,especially in UHV converter transformer for AC and DC power transmission project.The State Grid Corporation of China and China Southern Power Grid Co.,Ltd.are the main customers in domestic market.Bid price becomes the one of decisive factors in bid granted since the pooling bid invitation has been applied by SGCC and CSG.The transformer industry average profit is more than 18%in the 1990 of the 20th century which is down to around 7%in 2010-2012,5%in 2015-2017,3%in below 500kV and many manufactures are in negative profit era.STC is faced with a full competitive price fighting market.The materials purchasing saving is far from the requirements of STC cost reduction.This dissertation is a case study of STC supply chain management in production,purchasing in the view of vertical collaboration.Firstly,STC's industry environment has been analyzed by PEST.Then to do an in-depth analysis of supply chain management process has been done with the present problems in STC.It is mainly embodied in the four aspects of manpower demand,material purchase,production delay and import declaration.Then based on the literature study,on the supply chain,supply chain management,supply chain collaboration,and briefly expounds the concept of supply chain risk,on the basis of the application of theory of supply chain collaboration and talent supply chain problems on STC company in the supply chain management of manpower,material procurement,delayed the arrival of the goods and material design production delays caused by the problems and strategies to improve the problems in the import customs clearance.This paper reviews the improvement of the above problems after the implementation of the solution.Look from the effect of the improvement strategy,four problems are improved to a certain extent,especially the improvement of the outsourcing of customs affairs effect is the most outstanding,but still not get substantive improvement on demand problem,the other two material purchasing and production delay problems there are room for further improvement.The last four questions,the author of this paper to improve the effect of further on STC company's supply chain management guarantee measures,including talents on supply chain management,purchasing management,production schedule management,outsourcing management of customs affairs and throughout and the communication mechanism in the supply chain management of the company as a whole,in the hope of on STC company in the supply chain management problems can be further improved.
