Six Sigma DMAIC management method is a systematic improvement of the process by defining,measuring,analyzing,improving and controlling existing production processes(commonly known as processes)to eliminate quality defects in the manufacturing process and then to improve quality,reduce cost,improve productivity,and ultimately achieve customer satisfaction and the healthy development of the company.Six Sigma DMAIC management method has been widely recognized by the world management community,in which Motorola and GE Company adopted DMAIC method achieved a great success.In the late 1990 s,many manufacturing enterprises in China began to use DMAIC method to control their production process,in order to raise production efficiency,improve quality,and enhance their core-competitiveness.For the manufacturing enterprise,quality and efficiency are two key elements.The use of DMAIC method to improve product quality and solve the problems in the production,you can get financial return by improving product quality,but also achieve more stable quality stability and less quality defects.It can be a good tool to improve product and process quality,increase production efficiency and improve overall profitability of the company.Taicang CIMC Reefer Containers Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "Taicang CIMC)is one of the world's largest manufacturers of reefer containers with the leading products of reefer containers,reefer trucks and special reefer containers.With People awareness of environment protection,and building green and healthy social environment,the leadership of Taicang CIMC took strong social ability to phase out of HCFC-141 b in reefer container production which is ahead of the industry,using cyclopentane(environmentally friendly blowing agent,ODP=0)as blowing agent for PU rigid foam,due to the introduction of new technologies,new materials and new equipment,The difference of the formula and the field parameters of the polyurethane foam quality is not very stable,The frequency of the bubble problem,the problem of delamination occurs,especially in high temperature and high humidity conditions,layered bubbles,not very good control,seriously affecting the satisfaction of quality requirements of the refrigerated container and the core of customersIn this paper,the conditions of high temperature and high humidity polyurethane foam layer "as the main research object of quality problems to conduct in-depth analysis and research,mainly on the theory of quality management based on DMAIC as the main tool for quality improvement,through the analysis and verification of data collection and scientific aspects of the various stages,DMAIC,finally find out the influence of polyurethane really for a layered foam.Based on the quality management theory,combined the company's real production situation,to develop effective improvement solutions to solve this nearly two years of quality defects,avoid the hidden quality risk,enhance customer satisfaction,reduce the production costs and ensure the stability of the production.
