F Group is a manufacturing company which is engaged in 6C industries such as computer, communication,consumer electronics,digital contents,automobile components,pathways etc. The Group's target is to provide the most competitive products. F Group is always guided by the operating philosophy of speed,quality,engineering service,flexibility and monetary cost saving. In order to reduce the process defect and variance, improve production yield, achieve total customer satisfaction and increase competitiveness, all members of the company are responsible to promote Six Sigma and learn management idea, quality analysis tools and methods which are applied to daily work.In this thesis the assembling defect founded in the production process of L product is a breakthrough point. Based on the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Improve, Analyze and Control) of Six Sigma management tools and techniques carried out in our company, we collect data from current process. Then we find the key Xs of the Y by analyzing the data. Search for the optimal improvement program, Now, we have made great improvement,the nonconformities rate is reduced from 2.90% to 0.71% and 280,988 RMB is saved. Now the improved actions have been applied to other similar products manufacturing process. To make it the successful experience of based on existing can reach twice the result with half the effort.Tools include SIPOC flow chart, Pareto chart, Box plot, Measurement System Analysis, Process Capability Analysis, Hypothesis test, Prioritization Matrix, Force Field Analysis, Cause and effect matrix, PFMEA, Gage R&R and Statistical Process Control etc are applied in the research.Six Sigma aims at eliminating variation, stabilizing process, and continuously improving product quality and customer satisfaction, it is not only a quality goal, but also a philosophy, culture and integration of system methods. Starting to drive six Sigma and lean management since 2003, F Group has not only made a great economic achievement, but also formed a corporate culture of making decision based on facts and data, continuous improvement, the pursuit of excellence, and the new model of on-site management.
