Research On The Development Strategy Of Shenhua Railway Freight Transport Co., Ltd

Railway,as the main force of land transportation,has been always the main means of transport for national economic development.With features of large transport volume,low cost,not being affected by the weather,fast speed,being suitable for long-distance transport of bulk cargo,etc.,it plays an irreplaceable role in the reform and development.Thanks to the good reform and opening-up economic policy,with the continuous promotion of the national western development policies,vigorous development of the coal industry in western region,as well as the steady development and growth of the coal enterprise,the transport difficulty is becoming increasingly prominent.In order to solve the coal outside-transportation problem,the coal enterprise has successively built the dedicated line of self-owned railway transportation and established the self-owned railway transportation company focusing on undertaking the task of coal outside-transportation.In addition,the rapid development of self-owned railway has also driven vigorous development of western economy and played an essential role in western economic construction.However,with constant deepening of the market economic system reform and continuous advancing of the supply-side structural reform,the self-owned railway enterprise is also facing the challenge and opportunity of survival and development.The self-owned railway enterprise shall put more emphasis on the research and analysis on the industry and operation environment,apply the new thought and method of strategic management to incorporate the growth and development of the enterprise into the changing society and economica environment,and take the change trend of future environment as the decision-making basis in order to ensure that the enterprise managers attach greater importance to the study on operation environment,reasonably confirm the strategic development direction of enterprise,better grasp the opportunities provided by the external environment,and correctly select the development strategy suitable for the enterprise.In this paper,with the basic theory of strategic management of enterprise as the principle and basis,on the background of the current situation of development strategy of Shenhua Railway Wagon Transport Co.,Ltd.of CHN Energy(Hereinafter referred to as Railway Wagon Corporation),base on the premise of the developmentstrategy of Railway Wagon Corporation,the author systematically analyzes and formulates the development strategy of Railway Wagon Corporation.In the paper,firstly the author systematacially summarizes and combs the research results of domestic and foreign experts and scholars on the development strategy theory of the enterprise,and based on the discussion,research and analysis on the domestic and foreign theory,reaches the theory,basis and other factors for strategy formulation,and also analyzes the importance and necessity of strategy formulation on the enterprise’s development.Secondly,the author uses the analysis tool of strategic management of enterprise to conduct comprehensive and detailed sorting and elaboration,analyzes the strength & weakness of Railway Wagon Corporation and its challenge and opportunity faced one by one so as to find out the shortcomings and existing weakness and then provide the basis for the enterprise’s formulating strategy.Furthermore,starting from the actual conditions of Railway Wagon Corporation,the author puts forward the forward-looking and operable idea about the organization and allocation of railway vehicle and inspection and maintenance of railway locomotive for the Railway Wagon Corporation,tries to find out a series of new experience and methods in practice,summaries the historical lessons in the development of enterprise,finds the gap and breakthrough point to finnally determine the specific strategic contents for development of the enterprise.Based on the company’s actual development situation,all these effectively utilize and integrate the company resources,and accordingly become the important guidance and fundamental strategy for guiding the future development of Railway Wagon Corporation,and have great guiding significance in practical work.The research in this paper can provide not only guidance for the development strategy construction of Railway Wagon Corporation but also useful reference for other inspection & repair enterprises of railway wagon,and contribute to drawing on each other’s strength and collaboration enhancement in mutual exchange to jointly promote continuous development of national railway transport industry.Furthermore,in the new era,it will make stronger power to assist in realization of breakthrough in innovation,and scientific,high-efficiency,healthy and steady development in the future work.
