The purpose of this study is to try to introduce Chinese traditional harmony-culture to advanced culture class in Chinese as a foreign language and exploration on the teaching of specific application.The introduction part mainly explain the necessity of opening a relatively independent culture-teaching class in Chinese as a foreign language,the meaning of culture,the relationship between culture and language,the necessity and importance of culture teaching and so on;The last paragraph briefly talk about the Chinese traditional harmony-culture,with distinctive national features,which has important cultural status in Chinese traditional culture.So it should become the key content of culture teaching in Chinese as a foreign language.The first chapter and the second chapter mainly solve the problem of "what to teach",where they introduces the basic contents of Chinese and western harmonious culture,thus making the comparison between them,then revealing the objective reasons of those similarities and differences.Specifically,the first chapter discusses the meaning of the first three layers of "harmony",and then pointing out the mainstream school of Chinese traditional culture about the basic ideas of "harmony" from them.Because of taking the western students as a hypothetical learner,the second chapter in this paper introduces the harmony culture of western countries and its representative figure in the development process of the main point of views;On this basis,making comparison between the harmony of Chinese and western culture,find out the similarities and differences of them,and reveals the social and historical reasons that causing "the same in different or different in the same" situation,at the same time make preparation for the last teaching practice.In the third chapter,the author first briefly reviews the publication of the Chinese culture books in the nineties of the last century points out that the existing limited categories of culture teaching Chinese as a foreign language for ignoring values in terms of content,and this paper discusses the Chinese traditional harmonious culture also never make a project in-depth explanation that is what this paper selected topic significance.The author start with the values for cross-cultural communication ability formation,the real purpose of students study in China,the influence of Chinese as a foreign language education in the spread of Chinese culture and build good national image of China as well as the current global environmental and social problems to resolve such as Angle to explain why Chinese traditional harmonious culture into the culture of Chinese as a foreign language classroom.Then,combining with the teaching content,the discipline nature of Chinese as a foreign language as well as the condition of accepting about the advanced western students,this paper explains their teaching strategies and teaching principles,teaching strategies which saying mainly from the students,learning objectives,teaching methods,teaching means and elaborates the classroom form,etc,and the teaching principles which including the principle of combining culture and language,principles with practice,the principle of unifying the descriptive and evaluative,moderate principle and equality principle of dialogue.The key idea of the third chapter is the application of teaching methods,in which the author attempts to involve this topic teaching content into the interpretation of different teaching methods,and take a number of examples in this paper for a detailed explanation,all that fully embodies the topic focuses on the application of the writing purpose.In order to teaching better the Chinese traditional harmony-culture,the author puts forward some requirements on academic teachers,what involve the knowledge accumulation,multimedia technology,multicultural awareness and ability,and other aspects.And the last section of this chapter is the purpose of this project and the design of a simple scheme of teaching.Finally,it is the conclusion,where the author explains topic selection of this paper,the content choice,the original thinking of writing and makes a self assessment about this article.
