In Thailand,it has become a prevalent of the study of Chinese.For the phenomenon,the international Chinese teachers are in great request.It has send a number of Chinese teachers to Thailand for Chinese-teaching program every year by the NOCFL,colleges and universities in China and some intermediaries,because of the short of Chinese teacher in that country.Scholars at home and abroad have noticed that there are more and more problems in the cross-cultural adaptation for Chinese teachers.Etiquette and custom culture is a significant component in culture which implies the development of countries' culture and consists in all the social activities.Chinese teachers' adaptation of the etiquette and custom culture deeply affected their work and daily life.The Chinese teachers in Thailand who are the masters of the school of Chinese International Education in YunNan University in 2016 are the respondents of this paper.I have studied the teachers' adaptation of the etiquette and custom culture and the problems which appear in certain situation.There are some reasons which influence the adaptation and caused the problems for our teachers in this paper.In the end of the paper,there are some specific suggestions and consideration.The paper is mainly composed of the following five parts.Chapter one is the introduction.It mainly introduces the background,purpose,significance the current situation and the basic contend method of the study.The second chapter is the research design section,which mainly introduces the investigation object,method and content of the survey,and analyzes the basic situation of the investigation object.Chapter three is the analysis of the Chinese teachers' adaptive situation.I have studied teachers' adaptive situation of the traditional culture and custom,material social custom in their work and daily life.According to the specific cases,I classify the results with the degree of difficulty.Chapter four is the case analysis of the teachers' adaptive situation.I analyze each aspects of our teachers' adaptive situation in the specific content and project performance.Chapter five explores the influence factors of teachers' adaptation and gives some suggestion through analyzing the reasons for teachers' adaptation.I list some feasible suggestions and reflections.Conclusion come the last.It points out the limitation of the research and the prospect of the Chinese teacher's custom analysis in the future.
