The rapid rise of China's overall national strength and international status has continued to heat up the "Chinese fever.".More and more Chinese teacher volunteers are sent to work in Chinese teaching.Only when the volunteers are well adapted to the life in the destination country can the teaching work be carried out smoothly. Therefore, the cross-cultural adaptation of these Chinese teacher volunteers has become an issue that needs attention.Although there are many studies on volunteers' cross-cultural adaptation, they are mostly concentrated in Southeast Asian countries. As an important node country of the “Belt and Road”,Georgia is increasingly connected with China.Every year, about 20 volunteer Chinese language teachers are sent to Georgia to teach Chinese. Therefore,it is necessary to study the cross-cultural adaptation of Georgian Chinese teacher volunteers. This thesis focuses on the cross-cultural adaptation of 16 Chinese teacher volunteers who teach Chinese in Georgia in 2018-2019.This article uses the two-dimensional theory of Ward and the three-dimensional theory of Black as the theoretical basis.First,a method of collecting data using a combination of questionnaires and personal interviews is analyzed. The data is analyzed using SPSS software to summarize the social, cultural, and psychological aspects of Georgian Chinese teacher volunteers. And three aspects of work adaptation;then analyzed the factors that affect volunteers' cross-cultural adaptation, and finally proposed to improve volunteer cross-cultural adaptation through Hanban training, volunteer training colleges and volunteers themselves Suggestions for competence. It is hoped that it will help Chinese teachers and volunteers who go to Georgia in the future,so that Chinese teaching and cultural dissemination in Georgia can be carried out smoothly and efficiently.
