The "Chinese Elementary Comprehensive Course" is a comprehensive course textbook for undergraduate Chinese language skills series for overseas students.At present,there is not much research on this set of textbooks.This article will examine the "Chinese Elementary Comprehensive Course" from five aspects: pronunciation,text,new words,grammar and practice.At the same time,it will refer to the domestic authoritative outline of the textbook for teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and strive to objectively and concretely present the preparation of various parts of the textbook.Suggested amendments to the shortcomings in the textbook.Through research,this set of textbooks has its own unique writing ideas and writing characteristics.The writing and design are novel and innovative,and the content is rich,which is conducive to improving the interest of students in the primary stage in learning Chinese.At the same time,there are some shortcomings in the textbooks: the genre of the texts are unevenly distributed;the super-explanation is too much;the partial vocabulary is not properly interpreted,and the grammar points are not scientifically arranged.In response to the problems in the textbooks,the author put forward corresponding revision suggestions,and hope to provide reference for the preparation of future textbooks.
