"family culture" plays a very significant role in Chinese traditional culture.It is because family is a fundamental unit where people are cultivated to form basic principles of morality and develop basic qualities.Just as the saying goes,the root of the state is in the family.That is to say,the emergence of family culture has always been closely related to the future and destiny of a country.Therefore,family education is particularly important.Confucian family moral education thought,a educational model which families in ancient China always stick to,is the treasure of Chinese traditional culture,setting up integrated and systemic family education as well as teaching style.With the development of society,Chinese family education model has undergone tremendous changes.Meanwhile,various issues have arisen.Based on the current situation of modern family education,this paper will fully grasp the spiritual connotation of Confucian family moral education to improve and perfect modern family education model,providing useful reference for it.This paper will be divided three parts.Starting from the historical evolution of Confucian family moral education thought,the first part fully deconstructs and discusses the basic composition and main approaches of Confucian family moral education thought.Combined with the present situation of modern family education,the second part analyses the problems and reasons in it.The last part learns from the past experience and absorbs the advantages of Confucian family moral education thought in order to provide practical and valuable solutions for modern family education.
