| This report is about the practice of escort interpretation,which based on the author’s personal experience in Harbin International Fashion Week in 2018,combined with the professional knowledge and theoretical methods learned during the two-year postgraduate study.In the five-days’ interpretation practice,the author summarizes the problems that may be encountered in the process of export translation,including mistranslation,the pronunciation of non-native accent,and the handling of long sentences.At the same time,corresponding strategies are given for these problems.In view of improper suspension and mistranslation,the author proposes the method of translating and translating the English and Chinese to solve the problem;in the processing of long sentences,the method of translating,interpreting,ellipsis and the transform of part of speech can be used.The main content of the translation report is divided into four parts: the first part is the task introduction,including background introduction,content and requirements;the second part is the task process,including pre-translation preparation,interpretation process,self-assessment;the third part concludes case analysis and the solution strategy of the problem;the fourth part is the practice summary.The third part is the main body of this translation report.The author hopes to provide some experience and summary for some long sentences in the practice of interpretation,and make some contributions to this field. |
