The power struggle in tourism destinations is an important topic for scholars at home and abroad,especially at heritage sites.The tourism development and utilization of heritage has become the main focus of the struggle between inheritors.Although the researches on intangible cultural heritage and tourism development are very rich at home and abroad,most of them are focus on the well-known cultural heritage,such as world-class or national cultural heritage.Only a small part of them focus on local cultural heritage.Taking marriage customs of Tangka in Hailing Island as an example,this study explored how the power struggle produce,express and influence the intangible cultural heritage inheriting with the tourism development.This study conducted an investigation on the marriage customs of Tangka in Hailing Island from 2016 to 2018,and used semi-structured form to interview three major categories,including government,elites and tourists during the Nanhai(Yangjiang)Fishing Festival.Also this study summarized the development process and basic steps of the Tangka marriage customs in Hailing Island by the text analysis method.With the help of "interest-system-identity" framework and discourse analysis,this study explored the mechanism of power struggle during the Tangka marriage customs inheriting,which the study made some suggestions to mitigate at the last part.The findings are as follows:(1)Nanhai(Yangjiang)Fishing Festival provided a stage for the Tangka marriage customs in Hailing Island and became an important way for its inheritance.But it also triggered power struggle.(2)The formation of power struggle in Tangka marriage customs inheriting was influenced by multiple factors.Tourism development was the surface cause and it was also the inevitable result of the current inheritance system.The root of the struggle lied in the fact that the inheritors had different identity of Tangka marriage customs in Hailing Island.(3)Power struggle had different influences on the inheritance and development of marriage customs of Tangka in different periods.It's no doubt that in the early stage of cultural restoration,the struggle played a positive role.But it increased the internal friction between the inheritors and dispersed the power of inheritance.Therefore,in order to balancethe inheritance of the Tangka marriage customs and the tourism development in Haling Island,it was necessary to make full use of the Nanhai(Yangjiang)Fishing Festival,and improve the satisfaction of tourists.Besides,it needed to improve the inheritance system of the intangible cultural heritage,so that all the inheritors can form a joint force.It was also necessary to strengthen the dialogue between the inheritors and construct the space for the Tangka culture in Hailing Island.
