Dance learning and presentation have the characteristics of body and mind.Some studies have shown that long-term dance professional training will have a certain impact on physical function and cognitive ability,but the research on the impact of dance professional training on working memory and emotional regulation is very limited.Therefore,this study will analyze the working memory and emotional adjustment levels of female dance major college students through working memory task testing and emotional adjustment questionnaires on Chinese dance majors.In this study,125 female college students were selected as experimental subjects,including 63 Chinese dance majors(29 Chinese classical dance majors and 34 folk dance majors)as the experimental group,and 62 general liberal arts majors without arts as the control group.Using N-back task paradigm(including 0-back,1-back,and 2-back tasks)and the emotion regulation questionnaire(ERQ)to tested,using SPSS20.0 statistics software calculates the average and standard deviation of the experimental data,performs independent sample T test on each indicator,analyzes the correct response and correct rate of the two groups of experimental objects in the working memory task and emotion regulation questionnaire.The experimental results show that in the N-back task test,the 0-back,1-back,and 2-back of Chinese dance major female college students responded correctly to 460 ± 88 ms,430 ± 72 ms,578 ± 14 ms,which is faster than the general liberal arts.For professional female college students,the 0-back and 1-back correct rates were 96.6% and 98.4%,respectively,which were higher than those for general liberal arts college students.In the emotion regulation questionnaire test,the expression suppression strategy score of Chinese dance professional female college students was 17.84 ± 6.19,Higher than the control group.It shows that compared with female college students majoring in liberal arts,Chinese dance majors have the same working memory and emotional adjustment level,and on the whole show certain advantages.The conclusion of this study: long-term dance professional training will have a certain impact on the level of working memory and emotional regulation.The experimental results did not show significant differences between the groups,and it is necessary to take further empirical research on its impact mechanism.
