The YA reportage is a literary genre which is mainly targeted to teenager readers,by the use of the vivid literary form,it promptly reflects the real persons and events which is closely related to most teenagers in their life, directly expresses the author's judgment on the characters and events, and educates the readers.Reflecting the problems of young readers is one of the main themes of the YA reportage. This paper focuses on the narrative of the young adult issues in the YA reportage in the new period. The introduction analyzes the concept of "the YA reportage" and then clarifies the research content, value and research methods based on the review of domestic and foreign researches. The first chapter points out that the YA reportage in different periods reflects different problems. In the early period of the new era, most YA reportages expose and criticize the "gang of four" 's infringement on the young adult.By the mid-1980 s,the YA reportage broke through the limitation of praising the model teenagers and turned to the daily life of ordinary teenagers, reflecting the problems they encountered in life. From the late 1990 s to the present, the YA reportage began to reveal abnormal behaviors in problematic teenagers. The second chapter mainly focuses on three specific themes of the YA reportage: love, violence and death. In reflecting the problem of teenagers love, the emphasis on education and cognition is its consistent writing gist;on the issue of juvenile violence, the author reflects on the violent nature of human beings in the restrained description. In the description of the topic of death, the writers call for the youth to cherish and respect life through the derogatory denunciation of abnormal death. The third chapter explores how to write the youth problems in the YA reportage from the perspective of art form.In the reflection of teenagers' problems, the YA reportage not only learns expressive techniques from literary genres such as poems, novels and essays, but also learns a lot from non-literary genres, thus forming a unique "cross-style".The excessive emphasis on literariness leads to the tendency of "fictionalization" in the YA reportage, which weakens the authenticity of the works.Non-narrative discourse is the characteristic of the YA reportage genre, which controls the narrator's narration, provides guidance and adjustment for the young readers' reception. The fourth chapter points out that when reflecting the youth problems, the writer's subject moves towards consciousness, and the spirit of criticism and reflection is gradually revealed. The YA reportage tries to write about the present, intervene in the reality and present the "truth" of the world to the teenager readers, which makes up for the lack of life education for the teenagers to a certain extent. However, the existence of implied adult readers makes the YA reportage overemphasize problems, which may damage its readability and authenticity. Some YA reportages only represent "problems",while lacking in subjectivity of the young adult objects;under the authority of the adult writer's discourse, the acceptability subjectivity of the young readers is weakened. The YA reportage needs to provide more space for teenagers to think and criticize,to provide for adults the opportunity to communicate with adolescents, and bring their initiative into full play to appreciate and reflect.
