Research On Sino-Vietnamese Relations Since The 1950s

As a neighboring country of China,the relationship between Vietnam and China has a long history.The Sino-Vietnamese relations is one of China attaches great importance to state-to-state relations since the founding of new China,it is not only the object of study on the history of international relations,but also a major field of study on the history of the socialist countries' interaction with each other.As two of the few remaining socialist countries,the study of bilateral relations is a hot international issue in the current exchanges of socialist countries.This article takes the international relations of two countries in China and Vietnam as the object of study,and introduces in detail the Sino-Vietnamese relations since the 1950 s.Starting from the standpoint of Marxism and guiding by the basic principles of Marxism,this paper analyzes the relationship between China and Vietnam.About the study on the relationship between China and Vietnam,the first is a brief review to the Sino-Vietnamese relations before the 1950 s.First of all,this paper makes a brief review of the Sino-Vietnamese relations before the 1950 s,and then expounds the specific historical events during the period from the 1950 s to the middle of 1970 s,this was a period of friendship between the two countries,which is called "friends and brothers",after that,the two countries experienced a period of "conflict and confrontation" for more than a decade.By the 1990 s,the relation between the two countries was normalized,and cooperation in all areas was in full bloom.Since the beginning of the 21 st century,the bilateral relation has been developing steadily.However,the development of the relationship of China-Vietnam has not been smooth sailing,there are many problems exist in the exchanges of China and Vietnam,including politics,economy and trade,culture,and dispute about the South China Sea,we can analysis the cause of these problems,it can be found that has some occasional disagreements in the smooth development of China and Vietnam.In recent years,under the influence of the United States,Russia,Japan and other major countries,as well as the implementation of Vietnam's "great power balance" strategy,about the issue of the South China Sea,the differences between the two countries have become increasingly fierce,and the situation in the South China Sea has become even morecomplicated.And this has had an impact on the continued advancement of relations between the two countries,which has led to enormous challenges for the Sino-Vietnamese relations.For the current and future development of the relationship,we should clearly recognize that for the two countries,the main melody of the development of the relationship is always a win-win cooperation,there appear some divisive and controversial issue will be properly resolved.We should actively respond to these problems which encountered in the development of bilateral relations,and work together to shake off the influence of foreign powers,strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the fields of the political,economic and cultural,and promote new types of cooperation between China and Vietnam.Vietnam is the key node of "21st Century Maritime Silk Road",the successful construction of "21st Century Maritime Silk Road",which will actively push forward the comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation.We should strengthen cooperation within the framework of the China and ASEAN,and strengthen cooperation between China and Vietnam under the "AIIB" and "Belt and Road" initiative,so as to push China-Vietnam relations to a new high.On the basis of the guidance of Marxist classical writers on international relations,China adheres to the universally recognized norms of international relations,which actively develops the diplomacy of the great socialist countries with Chinese characteristics in the new era,and adheres to "peace and development",China will also implement the policy of "sincerity,mutual benefit and inclusiveness" to Vietnam of China's neighboring countries,and jointly build a vision of community of common destiny.Therefore,under the guidance of the norms of international relations,the policy of "16 characters" and the spirit of "four good",the relationship of China and Vietnam will certainly be further developed.The diplomacy of great powers with Chinese characteristics in the new era and the continuous development of the cause of socialism in Vietnam will certainly contribute to the promotion of the cause of socialism in the world.
