Research On The Criminal Law Protection Of Online Consumers’ Personal Information

With the growing scale of online shopping consumer groups in China,the number of criminal cases targeting online shopping consumers’ personal information is also on the rise.In addition,in modern society,personal information is not only the external expression of personal identity,but also the symbol of industry development trend,product upgrade orientation and potential consumer groups for specific economic fields.The economic value of personal information has become increasingly prominent,and a special criminal industrial chain has been formed for personal information.Legal protection of personal information online consumers facing a severe test,and this article is based on the realistic background,through the analysis of the characteristics of today’s online consumers personal information as well as the current criminal law to protect the status quo,based on personal information protection scope of the judicial practice experience,conclude that the perfection of criminal law relating to the personal information protection in China.
