Research On The Response Of Local Government To Online Public Opinion

With the rapid development of mobile Internet and modern communication technology,more and more people participate in social and political life through the network.The expression of public opinion is more convenient and free.Meanwhile,the environment of network public opinion has become complex and changeable.Network public opinion has gradually become an important form of expression of social public opinion.The government is the most important subject of social management and social service,and the ability of network public opinion response is an important part of government's governance ability.In recent years,local governments pay more attention to the network public opinion,but the lack of local government's response ability has become the shortcoming of local government's social governance.Therefore,local governments should explore effective ways to deal with network public opinion,and promote the formation of positive interaction between network public opinion and local government work.At present,the research on the government's response to network public opinion is mostly from a macro perspective,and the response to local government's network public opinion lacks pertinence and feasibility.Therefore,based on the working experience in office of the cyberspace affairs commission,through reading the relevant government documents and materials to deal with network public opinion,combined with management,communication and other related theories,through literature research,comparative research,case analysis and other research methods,this paper takes the real case from Nanjing local government network public opinion responses as the research object,and studies how local governments deal with network public opinion.Firstly,this paper elaborates the background of the topic selection and the current research situation at home and abroad.Secondly,it introduces the related concepts of network public opinion,combs the theoretical knowledge of management and communication used in the article.Thirdly,it analyses the reasons for the high incidence of network public opinion and the challenges to local governments.Fourthly,this article analysis cases of network public opinion responses from Nanjing local government.And sum up the experience and lessons of government's response to network public opinion.Finally,the measures and long-term mechanism of local government network public opinion response are discussed,and it is clarified that network public opinion response should be done well from the aspects of establishment of institutions,institutional processes,talent team,linkage mechanism,and so on.At the same time,public opinion guidance and agenda setting should be promoted through platform construction.Incorporating the rule of law management to reduce the outbreak of network public opinion,build a clean network space and maintain social harmony and stability.
