In the process of urbanization,left-behind children in rural areas is one of the difficult problems faced by rural basic education. It is not only related to the happiness of individuals and families, but also related to the future population quality, talent structure, social stability and national development.Narrative therapy mode is a new type of social work intervention method by metaphorizing and externalizing the problem, deconstructing the problem and reshaping the life story. It emphasizes self-examination and reflection and has a certain advantage in correcting the deviant behavior of the left-behind children. In this study,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the behavior problems of194 rural left-behind children in Y primary school and X middle school in J county, and 9 of them were selected for interview. After interview, the author had a preliminary understanding of the practical problems and needs of rural left-behind children and then determined the direction of the research. This study reviews the existing literature, takes social constructivism as its theoretical foundation, uses qualitative method, and collects data by observation and interview.During the internship, according to the collation of the information files of Y primary school children and the recommendation of teachers,a representative rural left-behind child with deviant behavior problems was selected as the research object. From the standpoint of school social work, combined with the practical methods and techniques of narrative therapy, this study attempts to correct the problem of deviant behavior and forms a set of practical models for such problems and situations.First of all, this paper analyzes the mainstream narrative and the needs of the case owner by listening to the narration of the case owner and other important people around him.Secondly, this paper guides the case owner to reflect on the old narrative and metaphorize, externalize and deconstruct it.Besides, this paper leads the case owner to find the unique events in the feeder story of the old narrative,so that the case owner can see his own flash spot and start to change.Through the reorganization of member dialogue to establish a face-saving small circle, the case owner can get the support and encouragement of the important people around him for his change so that he/she can develops a more positive self-narrative.As a result, the case owner can assist the culprit to construct the meaning of these positive changes; Finally, through the witnessof outside witnesses, the positive initiative of self-solving deviant behavior has been developed, which has played a better role in consolidating the effect.Through the research,it is found that the main reason for the deviant behavior problems of the left-behind children in rural areas is the self-biased cognition formed by the mainstream narration of the people around them and the unmet psychological needs for a long time. The conclusions of this study are as follows: first, narrative therapy can improve the frequency of deviant behavior of children to a certain extent;Second, narrative therapy can promote a series of changes of left-behind children, and it can enable important others around them to establish and develop the mainstream narrative.Third, narrative therapy can help children find their stranded ability, tap their own life strength, and make themselves the master and expert of the problem.Fourth, the combination of narrative therapy theory, social constructivism and symbolic interaction theory has certain advantages in correcting children's deviant behavior;Fifth, the practical method of this study is feasible to correct the deviant behavior of left-behind children in rural areas. It can provide a new reference for social workers to solve this kind of children's problems.
