Since the reform and opening up,with the rapid development of China’s economy and the acceleration of urbanization and modernization, the outflow of rural labor force has intensified, and the physical and mental health problems of left-behind women have become more and more prominent, which has become the focus of social attention.Narrative therapy is the more widely used way of post-modern psychotherapy,it grasps the problem with separate treatment concept, stress the individual self reflection and ability to achieve the solution of the problem, has the characteristics of high maneuverability, the effect is remarkable, but it is more focus on micro individual psychological, little attention to the macro environment, and ecological perspective not only focus on the micro individual is focus on the macro social environment and the interaction between people and the environment, therefore, combining ecological perspective and narrative therapy, the formation of ecological perspective of narrative therapy practice mode,to solve the rural left-behind women’s self-worth has certain feasibility. This article selects the X village left-behind women as the research object, using case study method, attempt to explore the ecological perspective of narrative therapy intervention in the applicability of the problems of the rural left-behind women’s self-worth,effectiveness,and intervention model, and for the localization of narrative therapy and rural left-behind women’s self-worth provides the experience for reference to resolve the problem. At the micro level, the subjects were assisted to deconstruct the old stories, develop new positive stories, enhance the sense of self-control and efficacy, and realize the individual empowerment through the techniques of question externalization, special significance events, and re-authoring conversations; At the meso level, family member dialogue, outside witness dialogue, peer group dialogue and other skills are used to assist the client to strengthen the interaction with the living environment, improve the social support network, and strengthen the foundation of the new story to achieve interpersonal environment empowerment; At the macro level, through the community intervention link, integration of resources, carry out employment information publicity activities, establish employment mutual aid groups, strengthen the social participation of rural left-behind women, and on this basis, put forward policy suggestions, advocate the change of the social environment.Through research, the author found that the ecological perspective of narrative therapy intervention model in solving the problem of rural left-behind women low self-worth is feasible, and has achieved positive results, the service object to improve self evaluation, improve family relations, strengthening of human relationships, social participation reinforcement, identity and self-worth significantly increased. However, the intervention mode of narrative therapy from the ecological perspective also has some limitations, such as high requirements on service objects and limited service scope, individual differences resulting in no fixed structure of practice mode and high requirements on workers’ ability. However,by reflecting on the whole research process, the author also puts forward the following suggestions:first, the multiple perspectives of theoretical application;second, the definition of the role of therapists;third, the de-structuring of technology application.
