Research On The Impact Of Venture Philanthropy On The Professional Service Capacity Building Of Social Work Organizations

In recent years,with the transformation of government functions in China,more social public services by professional social forces to assume the inevitable reform.Driven by this background,the number of social organizations in China has grown rapidly,reaching 854,000 by the end of 2019.However,the professional service ability of social organizations is poor and needs to be further improved.Although venture philanthropy is a way to cultivate and develop social organizations,there are few studies on the impact of venture philanthropy on the construction of professional service capacity of social organizations.Therefore,this article takes the symbiotic system theory as a guide,and from the perspective of capacity building,studies the impact of philanthropic venture capital on professional service capabilities.The effectiveness and existing problems of capacity building are elaborated,and the optimization path is explored to promote philanthropic venture capital to better enhance the professional service capabilities of social organizations.This article takes N city's philanthropic venture capital as an example,adopts qualitative research method,analyzes the literature of the paper,field observation and interview,based on the analysis of N city's philanthropy venture capital status.This article analyzes the impact of the five links of project demand investigation,project application conditions,project solicitation review,project implementation process,and capacity building support on the professional service capabilities of social organizations.Under the influence of venture philanthropy,the service supply capability,resource integration capability,project operation capability and service innovation capability of social organizations have been improved correspondingly.However,there are still some problems in the construction of professional service capacity of venture philanthropy,such as insufficient investment in capacity building,difficulty in measuring the effectiveness of capacity building,short project duration,lack of inter regional interaction mechanism and neglect of capacity building for sustainable development.Based on practical research and theoretical analysis,this article proposes a targeted optimization path for the above problems,mainly from the perspective of improving the symbiotic environment and optimizing the symbiotic unit.On the one hand,from the perspective of improving the symbiosis environment,policy supportand capital investment should be increased,the effectiveness evaluation mechanism for capacity building,the social interaction network between regions,and the implementation cycle of the project should be appropriately adjusted;on the other hand,from the perspective of optimizing the symbiosis unit,set off.Attention should be paid to the introduction and training of professional talents,strengthening the credibility of social work institutions,strengthening the sustainable capacity building of social work institutions,and expanding channels for funding social work institutions.It is hoped that through the research on the impact of philanthropic venture capital on the professional service capacity building of social organizations,it will further promote the professional service capacity of social organizations,thereby promoting the professionalization of public services and social organizations.
