Teachers gradually use various new materials in classroom teaching.The news of current affairs,which is close to the advantages of students and close to life,not only accords with the psychological cognition level of high school students,but also focuses on its fast updating,true events and wide range.And in recent years,the college entrance examination topic can not avoid the combination of current affairs and hot topics.The majority of front-line teachers gradually use this resource in peacetime teaching,but the related theoretical basis and methods are not systematic.Under the guidance of relevant educational theories,this paper discusses the basic meaning of current news and defines it as "news report of important political or social events at home and abroad".According to the content can be divided into political news,economic news,science news,political news,sports news,social news;according to the communication channels and information carrier can be divided into news,news photos,news,news video audio.The significance of current events news introducing high school history teaching can be analyzed from four aspects:teaching material content,students’ interest,value education and teacher’s professional development.In order to further understand the current situation of current news in high school history teaching,the author takes Yangzhou Y middle school as an object,and obtains information through questionnaires and classroom observation.Through the analysis of the survey results,most students hold a positive attitude towards introducing current news into classroom teaching,and hope that teachers can make more use of them in the introduction and explanation.But there are also many problems,students focus on the type of news to entertainment,social,political,and gender difference exists;because the main source of students’ knowledge of current affairs is the network television media,but by the way of school management,class access to less chance news.The strategy of improving the current affairs news to introduce high school history teaching is to form a closed loop system of screening,application,reflection and feedback.Screening stage should follow the timeliness and appropriateness,the principle of humanism;using the link to the new teaching and lesson as an example,the new teaching need teachers in advance of the news collection,through the video introduction,talk into the way into the classroom,the use of causal relation method,comparative analysis method,inductive method,culture in the transfer of knowledge and methods of the students’ correct values.The summary of the class ends with current events,enabling students to enhance their realistic sense of reality while looking up at the stars to explore history.After class,using the news of current affairs as a kind of interdisciplinary resources,it aims to increase the knowledge of students’ current affairs.In reviewing lessons,teachers can make use of current news as a clue for thematic review,focus on hot spots,study test dynamics,and compile historical questions based on test sites.Teaching reflection is an important link to summarize the former’s success or shortcoming,so as to perfect screening and application.Thus,the organic closed loop system of screening and application is guided by screening,reusing and rethinking.
