At the stage of compulsory education,a new round of curriculum reform will be carried out with the key competency as the core framework.The students’ key competency is the essential character and key ability that students have gradually formed to meet the needs of individual lifelong development and social development in the course of accepting the education of the corresponding study stage.The cultivation of key competency depends on the curriculum,so different subjects take different parts according to the different nature of the subjects.The curriculum standard of high school divides the key competence of physics into four aspects of"physical concept","scientific thinking","scientific inquiry",and "scientific attitude and responsibility".In junior high school,there is no clear standard.Physics is a subject based on experiment,scientific inquiry is very important,so I choose scientific inquiry as a breakthrough point to study how to cultivate students’ scientific inquiry competence in junior high school.In this paper,the research background and research status of the key competence of scientific inquiry are studied by means of literature research.According to the theory of some authoritative experts and scholars,the concept of scientific inquiry competence,the division of the level of scientific inquiry competence and the significance and connotation of the cultivation of scientific inquiry competence are summarized.And from the perspective of pedagogical psychology,the theoretical basis for developing students’ scientific inquiry competence is analyzed.Secondly,combined the results of the theoretical research,the method of questionnaire survey is used to to investigate the deficiencies in the current cultivation of teachers and students of junior high school in Yangzhou city.In order to ensure the rationality of the questionnaire survey,the questionnaire is tested and revised repeatedly,and finally got more comprehensive and detailed data.Through the analysis of the data,the three major shortcomings of the cultivation process of current scientific inquiry competence are summarized and are carried out attribution analysis.Then based on the knowledge of the deficiencies in the actual teaching in the investigation,the literature research method is continued to use to study a series of targeted strategies.Through this series of strategies,the shortcomings of the cultivation progress of scientific inquiry literacy are solved,so as to improve the entire cultivation system of scientific inquiry literacy.Then the above strategies are applied to specific teaching cases,and the ways of integrating the strategies into the teaching process are studied.The cases include new class,exercise class,experiment class,and after class inquiry activities.Through specific and detailed teaching plans,the flexible application of the strategy of the cultivation of scientific inquiry competence into teaching and the matters that need to be noticed in the teaching process are introduced.The author has annotated the specific points of the cultivation of scientific inquiry competence in teaching plans,which has certain reference significance.At the end of the article,the author summarizes the whole process of the study,and also puts forward its own outlook on the shortcomings of the research process,and expects to have more research results in the course of the follow-up teaching.
