Purpose:The objective of this study is to research through the subjects were made after the success of the mould to foam roller exercise and vibrating foam roller exercise two way to relax after the intervention,and observe the subjects before and after fatigue building successful,after the intervention of quadriceps of different time the change of the relative muscle strength index,in order to understand the influence of foam roller exercise and vibrating foam roller exercise on exercise induced fatigue,as well as to discover the advantages and disadvantages between the two,and to explore the principle of the mechanism,for the practical application of the two methods of relaxation to provide theoretical foundation.Methods: Sixty-six undergraduates boys from Department of Sports Medicine of Chengdu Sport University were selected to test isokinetic muscle strength of lower limbs.Sixty-six boys were divided into control group,foam roller group and the vibrating foam roller exercise group by random grouping method Group,22 in each group.Each subject underwent 10 * 7 squat weight-bearing squat exercises and 60% of their maximum load was taken as a bear load to exercise muscular fatigue for the extensor muscle of the lower limbs.After the end of the exercise,all the subjects measure the muscle strength index immediately,and then the foam roller exercise group begin to use the foam roller to relax the quadriceps,the vibrating foam roller exercise group received the intervention of the vibrating foam roller,and the control group did not accept any interference was rested.The mechanical indexes and VAS were measured before exercise,immediately after exercise,0.5 hour after exercise,24 hours after exercise and 48 hours after exercise.All measurements include: the peak torque,the average of peak torque and total work etc.Research results:(1)mechanical index : According to the research conclusion,after the squat,the mechanical index of control group?foam roller exercise group and vibrating foam roller exercise group is immediately lower than before squat(P<0.05),there is no difference between the three groups(p>0.05);In0.5 hour after squat,the mechanical index of control group?foam roller exercise group and vibrating foam roller exercise group is also lower than before squat(P<0.05),there is no difference between the three groups(p>0.05);In 24 hours after squat,the mechanical index of foam roller exercise group and vibrating foam roller exercise group began to rebound,and with the control group have difference(P<0.01),there is no difference between foam roller exercise group and vibrating foam roller exercise group(P>0.05).In 48 hours after squat,the mechanical index of foam roller exercise group and vibrating foam roller exercise group is almost back to before squat,and with the control group have significant difference(p<0.01),the vibrating foam roller exercise group in the average of centripetal peak torque,the average of isometric peak torque and total work is higher than the foam roller group,with significant difference(P<0.05);(2)Subjective pain visual analogue scale(VAS):the VAS score of the three groups showed an upward trend after the squat and in 0.5 hour after squat,there is no difference between the three groups(P>0.05);In 24 hours after squat,the VAS score of foam roller exercise group and vibrating foam roller exercise group is significantly lower than the control group(P<0.01),But there is no difference between foam roller exercise group and vibrating foam roller exercise group;In 48 hours after squat,the VAS score of foam roller exercise group and vibrating foam roller exercise group is significantly lower than the control group(P<0.01),the VAS score of vibrating foam roller exercise group is lower than foam roller exercise group,with significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusions:(1)Exercise-induced muscle fatigue will lead to decrease muscle function and muscle soreness.This function decline and subjective discomfort will not be fully recovered after 48 hours of exercise;(2)The foam roller relaxation and vibrating foam roller relaxation can accelerate the recovery speed of the exercise-induced muscle fatigue and improve the subjective discomfort;(3)Compared with the foam roller relaxation,the vibrating foam roller relaxation has a better recovery effect on muscle fatigue and subjective discomfort.
