The most important thing that the nation left for her offspring is her unique culture.We Chinese has many excellent traditional culture since ancient times.It is our responsibility to inherit them.From the perspective of inheriting and developing excellent traditional culture,classic reading is a relatively simple and easy way to carry out on the current state.In April 2014,The Education Bureau of Laiwu in Shandong Province begins to create features school with the characteristic of spreading Chinese excellent traditional culture.The activity of reciting classics in schools is carrying out.So far,after the painstaking efforts,we have made great progress.It needs great courage for a county to carry out the activity of reciting classics in the way of policy.We need to investigate,organize and summarize the activity of reciting classics in our county.What's more,studying the significance and effect of the activities is necessary,They are our responsibility for education,teachers and children and the greatest value of this paper.The paper consists of three components:First,this part is to give the literature review on current state of the activity,explain the reasons for the choice and define the concept of “classic reading”.Meanwhile,The paper will find the meaning of the activity.Second part is important in the paper.This paper mainly introduces the general situation of "classic reading" in Laigang of Laiwu city.And discuss the reasons for the activity,the criteria evaluation for criteria and destination,the situation of how schools carry out the activity,and the achievements and problems in carrying out this activity.Third part is based on the above parts,the paper will give suggestions to help schools carry out the classic reading.Above all,from an objective point of view,this paper conducts a research on the activity of "classic reading" in a region to make the "classic reading" more helpful and practical and let the activity get greater development in schools.
