Fairy tales have created a magnificent and fantastic world for children with their vivid language,fancy imagination and rich story lines;which play an important role in satisfying children's curiosity,improving their imagination and nourishing their spiritual world.The application of fairy tales in primary school education is common,especially in language teaching,but they are rarely applied in mathematics teaching.Mathematics,as a significant part of primary education,plays an important role in developing students' intelligence and training logical thinking.However,it is not difficult to find out in teaching practice that many students are not interested in mathematics and unable to learn it.As a method,fairy tale teaching provides a new way for mathematics learning,which allows students to learn math while enjoying the nourishment of fairy tales.In order to explore the important educational value of mathematical fairy tale teaching,this study makes an objective evaluation and puts forward the reasonable suggestions on the teaching of mathematics fairy tales in primary schools through mathematical fairy tales and the elementary school mathematical fairy tale teaching on the basis of combing the current teaching research of elementary school mathematical fairy tales.Firstly,this paper summarizes the fairy tale teaching of elementary school mathematics.It mainly introduces the characteristics and value of fairy tales,mathematical fairy tales and the teaching methods of mathematical fairy tales in primary education.Secondly,As the carrier of fairy tale teaching of primary mathematics,mathematical fairy tales have an important influence on the implement of mathematical fairy tale teaching methods.In this paper,I chose Silly Kitty Learns Math as a study case and analyzes this book according to its preparing background.Meanwhile,I chose two of the fairy tales to carry out case studies,in the hope of getting the whole picture of mathematical fairy tales.Thirdly,the mathematical fairy tale teaching methods of elementary school are discussed in detail.I selected three typical teaching cases and analyzed the mathematical fairy tale teaching methods of elementary school from three angles before,during and after class.According to the analysis,we find that the adding fairy tales to class import is conducive to arising questions and stimulating students' interest in learning.During class,it creates specific situation through fairy tales for students to draw their close attention to study.After class,let students create fairy tales to promote their understanding,internalization and consolidation of mathematical knowledge.In order to get the whole picture of the teaching methods of elementary school mathematics fairy tales,I have interviewed some experts and experienced teachers in the field.Combined with the results of these interviews,I evaluated the fairy tale teaching of primary mathematics,and put forward some suggestions for perfection on the basis of reflection.
