Listening is an essential ability of studying and broadening horizon to get information.Meanwhile,it is also the important content of teaching Chinese lesson.However,listening,at the first place of writing,speaking,reading and writing is losing weight now,for most Chinese class in primary school pay too much attention on other three parts.As we known,the early grades students of primary schools are in the beginning periods of ability developments.In this way,developing and attaching more importance to the listening ability is the most significance.This paper contains five parts.The introduction is to raise a question,confirm the meaning of listening ability and give the information of research design.The second part gives a definition for the core concept of listening ability which is divided into four small sections:listening concentration?listening memory?listening comprehension?and listening evaluation.Also it provides the foundation for developing listening ability.The third part is to provide the research of the listening ability development situation in early grades students and teachers in Changzhou primary school.This research is based on teacher questionnaires and student interviews.The forth part is to analyze the current listening ability development situation in early grades to find out the factors in listening ability development.The last part introduces some Chinese learning activities of developing listening abilities among the early grades students in my primary school.It provides reference for developing listening ability purposeful and systematically from the aspects of the classroom teaching design?teaching assessments and so on.In a word,in the situation of current listening ability development among the early grades of primary school students,this paper,based on the theory of pedagogy and psychology about listening ability provides useful suggestions for developing listening ability effectively.
