With the development of modem information technology change rapidly,information technology and curriculum integration theory more in line with the development of education of human needs,the virtual experiment as a kind of information technology is also an important teaching aid by more and more educators favor.Although the development history of virtual experiment is only a few decades,its development speed and influence are obvious to all.Its unparalleled characteristics have been applied to all walks of life and gradually move towards the field of primary and secondary education.This paper defines the related concepts of virtual experiment,introduces the characteristics,the research situation and achievements of the virtual experiment at home and abroad,as well as the theoretical basis.Analysis of effect of virtual experiment on classroom teaching,mainly include the following five points:the virtual experiment can create the learning situation,effective breakthrough in physics teaching and learning difficulties,break the limits of time and space,make up for the deficiency of teaching condition and avoid risk experiment and regulate the students,experimental operation.Specific teaching cases are designed to discuss the application of virtual experiment in middle school physics teaching,including virtual experiment for new class teaching,exercise teaching,and student independent student and classroom exercises.At the same time the teaching practice,the students of grade eight,Shanghai version of "scientific inquiry":convex imaging teaching design and analysis of classroom teaching,the use of virtual experimental teaching software,in order to better understand the effect of application of virtual experiment in the classroom teaching,feedback on students' use of this subject the research.The results show that using virtual experiment to assist classroom teaching can enrich classroom teaching methods,effectively stimulate students' interest in learning,and is very popular among most students.The virtual experiment creates vivid and flexible teaching situation,which can promote the retention of students' memory and the transfer of knowledge,and improve the students' learning efficiency.At the same time,it is beneficial to the students' ability to play and reflect the students' subjective status.Finally,some suggestions for software developers and front-line teachers are put forward for the problems in virtual experiment.Meanwhile,some shortcomings of this research are introspection.
